Certainly not Fed. His running forehand has been an increasingly huge weakness in his game for the last decade. I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen his opponent go to his forehand corner only to see Fed in trouble immediately, either by hitting an error or by returning it so short the point is pretty much lost for him.

At his peak his opponent would never dare going to his forehand unless they knew he'd most likely barely get his racquet at it. And even then many players were scared to do so.

What about peak defence of the big3 off FH wing

Peak level, I think all 3 are GOAT level at it.

I think Nadal juuuust ahead of Federer who is a bit ahead of Djokovic.

Fed's FH defense was absolutely spectacular and he was just as good as defense to offense as Nadal. Djoko's immediate defense to offense isn't as great, but his insane court coverage makes up for it.

Forehand - Nadal
Plays with margin, power and spin at the same time and can whip it without being perfectly prepared.
You'll most likely receive nothing pleasant from that wing.

Backhand - Djokovic
Rubber man stretch, redirection and ability to easily go DTL when you least want it.

Slice - Federer

Federer also let possesses an amazing defensive forehand squash shot, the best in history. Obviously he’s been slow for awhile now moving to that corner. I would summarize the big 3 in their prime as follows:

Best running forehand - Nadal
Best forehand squash shot - Federer
Best forehand half volley from the baseline - Federer
Best drop shot return on the forehand side - Djokovic

Obviously all 3 are excellent defenders.

Djokovic has pretty unbelievable backhand defence as well. His down the line backhand from an open stance on the stretch is truly great. Nadal almost never went down the line but he could his a great cross court on the run.
Djokovic defense BH is the best.
