I know this is very subjective, but which prestige of recent production best resembles the Prestige Classic in terms of feel and control/power balance?

MicroGel. So underrated both in feel and cosmetics...
True, worst paint job version in my opinion as well. Never had the chance of hitting with the mg prestige but used to own the mg radical and it had a very flexible, plushed and controled feel. I bet the mp prestige added some welcome stability to the mix. It was a full ounce heavier and a little stiffer as well. Thank you for your reply.

Different people liked different version. I had used Youtek version a lot and I liked the feel of it. Had I tried other versions, I may have liked them but let's go with Youtek for me.

It's not on your list but I thought the Liquid Metal Prestige probably felt the closest to the Classic, just not in a good way. There was always something a little..tinny..about it, but heft and flex were very close.

The iPrestige Mid is one of the most magical frames of all time. I mean that frame is just bonkers. It's not even a 90 head and it plays big like at least a 95. It's one of the few mids that could still compete in today's game. You can serve bombs and hit groundies with insane rpms. I think Thiem and Nadal could totally use it. The thin beam and small head make it soooo whippy but it still has the mass and plow in stock form at 12.3+

I didn't vote because I have limited experience with the Prestige line. I just like to comment that while the i.Prestige Mid is highly spoken of I equally like the Flexpoint Prestige Mid. One word to characterize it is its crispy feel. It's funny because I always thought (and still do) that flexpoint is the most laughable racquet technology yet I do like one that is equipped with it.

I’ve played many Prestige’s, including a few Pro Stocks. I have to say I really am liking the current Graphene Touch editions.

Have only experienced Flexpoint MP so can’t comment too much and quite liked it. Still have a couple and I use it time to time.

Well. ...Since I "started playing again" after a 25 year layoff between 1986-2010 I did miss all the "classic" Prestige frames. But I have a Radical MP MicroGel, this was the one that got me interested in 18/20 midplus rackets. And then I got to testplay a Prestige Mid (or was it Midplus) YouTek Inegra (?) 330 g unstrung L6 "Swingstyle" (I believe, it was around 2011/2012) and I was "hooked". At this point I had just begun to play with a Speed MP Youtek Inegra, but went back to Microgel, and leaded it up to 343 g strung with even balance. Perfect! Then after havíng played with the MicroGel for 3-4 year I bought Prestige MP Graphene XT, and then finally MP Touch. Of all these rackets I like the Touch the most, perhaps because that's the one I'm playing with at the moment. And, no I do not wanna testplay the old MicroGel's again because I might end up playing with them again. But I do carry them around in my bag :).

I remember thinking of "how big" head that MicroGel had compared to the Wilson Triad 6 i was playing with then. But I soon found out that the MicroGel was way better in every aspect.

Of those listed above, my favorite is microgel followed by flexpoint and i.. Many people seem to love i.prestige but it's my least favorite. I always felt it's stiff and lacks crisp feel. I've owned four i.prestiges by the way.

Not on the list but my absolute favorite is liquidmetal prestige. It has such a nice flexy, comfy feel.

I'm referring only to mids since I haven't had mid pluses.

try every prestige my brother having.
and play with many too .
triyng youtek (MP), innegra (MP & S), fxp (MP) and XT (S)

for me the best was innegra, but the day i'm trying PT630, lite tour 630 and 690 found they are better than every prestige notified here (IG/Youtek/i-P/fxp/MG) ...for me!..

Yes, the originals are far better than any of the fake tech that has come out after.

i trying a lite tour 630, 660 and 690, my best for me is 690, but difficult to find.. do you think the 690 vamp tour is similar to lite tour 690 (green version for the lite tour), i have just one 690 LT, and for next year, love to play with two similar frames... 660 lite tour not exactly similar to lite tour 630/690, for me maybe it's the same mold to prestige tour 660, but impossible to found anything about sceps of all of these frames (vamp tour 690- lite tour 630-690, pro lite tour 660 (on red/black version and white/grey version), standart version and XL version...
