Best Hybrid Cross String

What's the best cross hybrid string that'll go well with Luxilon Alu Power in the mains? I was thinking about NXT Tour, Xcel Premium, or PSGD. I know that Natural Gut is great because i tried it out but it is way too expensive. What's a good multifilament or synthetic gut replacement for the natural gut on the hybrid cross?

What's PSGD? If you're a string breaker I'd stay away from the multis and go with a soft synthetic gut. I tried multis on my crosses once and broke the cross in about 6 hours.

Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex. I'm not a string breaker. I break strings around once every month or 1 1/2 months. I also use string savers so it lasts longer. I'm looking for quality over durability. But the durability can't be terrible. It has to have somewhat durability.

I have tried 16g Technifibre X-1 Biphase as a cross string and liked it a lot, and it is a little cheaper than some of the ones you mentioned. I have several friends that love NXT Tour as a cross, but I haven't tried it myself. Lately, I have been using Babolat Tonic BallFeel as a cross, which feels awesome. It's a natural gut, but only about $25 a set... and it lasts longer (although that may not be something you care about with Alu Power in your mains, which lose playability long before they break).

I agree lux and gut is the best setup hybrid...
I found x1 biphase as a great substitue approx $15 and does have a gutlike feel...only con is that it will fray and break before your lux does...its a multifilament...gamma * is also ok lil mushier and easy on arm...

imo...psgd might be too stiff...just vary the tensions of the x and mains if ever you decide psgd

I like to use firm multi's because NXT and similar strings fray to easily with poly mains.

Gamma asterisk and Wilson reaction work well..
