Best intermediate midplus

I am posting this for a friend. I accompanied him to the pro shop and he demoed the kfactor team 95 and mfil 300. He likes the kfactor better. He has no set budget so price is not a factor. So what is the best midplus intermediate frame for a 3.0-3.5 player? The nblade and radical are on our demo list too.

p.s. intermediate midplus = 95-102 sq.in. and 10.5-11.2 oz.

Try the pure drive, aero pro drive, and rds 001. Personally, I find that the pd is superior to the apd though. These racquets are very good for most skill levels.

The RDS is a bit heavier than what you've asked, but it's head light, so it plays lighter.

Probably the Pure Drive, the Radical, Nblade, and the Mfil 300. I haven't used all of them, but they are very popular here and in high school tennis (which I'd say most freshman I played are 3.0-3.5)

nBlade
nPro Open
AG 300
Mfil 300
Pure Drive
APD
Radical (post Ti)

Try the nPro Open with Babolat Razor Spin + a little lead - sticky with great topspin.

Check out the Yonex RDS002 (non-tour). It's light and maneuverable but forces you to take a full, fast swing. I think of it as Yonex's answer to a Babolat Pure Drive but it offers much more control than a Pure Drive and is much more arm friendly too.

vkartikv,
what kind of swingstyle does your friend have? full and fast = the nblades or radicals could be of interest. compact = pure drive or npro open. if he has a compact swing he will not be happy with the blades or the k95team in the long run unless he tries to develop a full swingstyle.

I disagree about the compact part. You can still take big cuts at the ball, particularly with western grips at the ball so that it goes in. You just need to put more focus on spin and the power will come as well.

I like Volkl V1 series of racquets. Three of my friends who's tried it thinks it a great racquet - they're 2.5 to 3.5 level players.

I would also add LM Instinct, Pure Storm, & Microgel Extreme to this group

I think the LM Instinct and Radical are good rackets for a wide range of players... and they are very cheap as well, which makes them obvious choices.
Another one would be the MFil 300 even though I never played that one.
