Which of these is your favorite or in your opinion the best. Feel free to offer your explanation.
Preferably something that plays close to ALU or Original.

I really liked Pro Line II 1.20 in 18x20 racquets. Black Shark is great but lower powered and Pro Line Evolution is another excellent all-rounder with good power too. I think overall Kirschbaum have a really good range

SpikeyShark Yellow 16 seems pretty good, a solid performer than doesn't lose much tension after a couple day's play. Not super powerful, but very controllable and soft feeling at 35 lbs. on a 97" 18x20 pattern frame. It's thicker than STBite16, so very durable and solid playing.

Agreed......∆. What he said.

I voted max power. I use it as a cross in 46-50 lb range. It is stiff which I like. It holds tension well according to me and TW string data. It seems stiffer polys hold tension better as lux 4g and ltec 0s are stiff with better tension maintenance according to TW and RSI

Max Power is very similar to Lux ALU in my opinion as another poster pointed out above as well. I like it very much. I also like Black Shark. I like Kirschbaum in general and find they have good quality strings line up.

P.S: I was working on a project and happened to email them here in the US. They sent a free stencil to me which was very cool.

I'm not going to vote in the poll since I haven't used enough of the other strings but Super Smash Orange is my regular string. It feels like Signum Pro Poly Plasma if anyone likes that string. Good control and not too much power. I'm not a fan of shaped string. Great price too.

I participated in the play test for Pro Line II Rough and found that had too much power and not enough control when compared with the Super Smash Orange.

Can you compare Super Smash Orange to Pro Line X?

Super Smash Orange feels way more crisp than Pro line X. Pro Line X is a great string, but it offers zero feel. I play very well with it, but I prefer the feel of Black Shark and Spiky Shark or even Max Power to the Pro Line X. I put Super Smash Orange in my Microgel Radical Mp, and it was harsh as he!!...My elbow still cringes at the thought of it :) I out it in my Prince Tour 16x18 though, and it was pure bliss. The Tour is such a flexy, soft frame, and SSO makes it come alive and create some sickening spin...it made my racquet look like an orange harbinger of death

Maybe I'll hang on to the set of SSO I have until I have a multi to hybrid with it so. I like PLII and Evolution so will be giving PLX a spin next

I think you will enjoy the PLX, it has a similar feel to the other Pro Line strings. I think all of Kirschbaum's strings are solid performers, with great tension maintenance, and priced competitively.

For me, it was good. But not good enough for me to switch from my two favorites, Black Shark and Max Power. It reminded me of a more comfortable Black Shark, but without the profiled edges. It was a spinny string, but for my game, I just liked Black Shark more. I think Black Shark gives more feedback and is a bit stiffer/crisper. I was also launching balls a bit more with it. I haven't had enough time with Pro line Rough to give a good review of it, but so far, it is my favorite of the Pro Line series of strings.

But, everyone is different, and we are all using different frames/techniques. So I always suggest that people get a set and try them out for themselves. As much as I love Black Shark, there have been people I string for that hate it :)

Thats true, I ve tried a bunch of strings my friends swear by and hated them. Then some of my reccomendations dissapointed them as well. Black Shark is the bomb if you look for muted, low power strings with heaps of spin

For me it´s the Max Power Rough 1.25. Very durable, good control, good comfort, keeps tension and playbility very very long! One of, if not THE best co-poly on the market right now!

I love kirschbaum polys. Every one except the first generation(super smash and super smash spiky) keep their tension.
These are how I see them:

Pro Line II: any guage, great all around poly. Everything is balanced. Good feel, control and spin.
Pro Line X: Just a bit better than Pro Line II still balanced still good control and spin.
Max power(not the rough one): Little more control(less power and feel) than the pro line series. Better spin though.
Yellow and Black Shark: Prob the best strings I have used. Great spin, great feel, very durable because it keeps tension for a long time.

Those are the K-baum strings I have used.

Really? I was thinking about giving Max power a try, as I like Wilson Revolve.

Spiky shark was similar for me
Never tried revolve but my hitting partner strings revolve only. I’ve hit with his 97f before and it feels more like proline evolution. I’ll ask him to try his frame when I hit with him and report back here .
