It's good to do something for fun. There is enough serious stuff to debate.

I think it means people in general...babies, men, women, all ages. And only to Western standards. Worldwide the list would be much different I think.

Are we talking about face? legs or bodies??? Also, some of those countries are very multi-multicultural, with a mixture of people from all over the world.
 
USA with 33% obesity rate is rated number 1 ---- PMSL.

More Scandinavian countries needed, less India, Mexico, and England.

BTW, why does Britain get split up into England, Wales, and Scotland? It's not like the US gets to list all 50 states, nor does Brazil get to list its separate states.

Based on the countries I've been in and the people I've known from other places, I'd rank Russia much higher up, Ukraine up there as well, Norway up in the second 10, and Poland somewhere in the top 20.

Spain, Portugal, and Italy definitely deserve their places, and Greece might deserve a spot (Malakas should be able to weigh in on that).
 
More than 50% of the world is "Asian," and the first "Asian" country on this list is India (of all places) and they come in 8th place...the second Asian country (not counting Russia) is Japan in 15th.

Something is very wrong with this poll.

hahahaha. i thought the same! 1/3 obesity, which comes from 2/3 of people who are generally overweight.

Obviously it isn't asking for the "average", otherwise America's fatass tendencies would not be no. 1.
 
I think that list is "honky-heavy" ..... where are the African nations?

I also think Afghans are strikingly good-looking people (great, intense eyes).

That's why I think this list is inaccurate. Obviously, every country will have at least a few stunners. Just look at the Miss Universe pageant.

To me, the real key is the beauty of the average Joe/Jane. If even average guys and girls are good looking, then that's a beautiful country. If the average person is morbidly obese, then maybe not so much (unless that's your bag, baby).
 
Sorry for my bias, but having spent a lot of time in both India and the U.S., but having also traveled quite a bit, there are lots of beautiful people in both the U.S. AND India. No question about it. Having said that EVERY country has its fair share of "good looking people". They are "everywhere" really. Variety is the "spice" of life.
 
Hmmmm....I think the list forget to weigh the numbers correctly. One Swedish blonde is equal to ten blondes from any other country.

English (actually everyone in Great Britian) have got the sexiest accents! I'm an American and I'm sorry but the people here are :shock: I'd rather date a foreigner.
 
... hey ... I have another nation that was probably inadvertently left off the list ... and ... that would be ISRAEL ... the women there are breathtakingly beautiful ... and ... the men ... a good 90 percent fall well within the "ideal weight" category ... very few overweight women or men in that country ... and ... hey ... who can argue with Paul Newman (... "Exodus") ...

I agree with you. Conceptions of who is beautiful vary greatly based on where you are in the world!

Sadly though, the US is getting fatter and fatter (a true tragedy).

If the United States are ahead of places like Russia, Argentina, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic and yes...Romania ... then I'm sorry to say ... but this poll does NOT include the women.

Edit... Ah ... UK ahead of Russia ...etc ... again ... they probably have NOT included the women :).

I noticed that too. Sub-Saharan nations i.e. Ethiopia, Kenya have some extremely beautiful women. I agree about Afghanistan people as well and would add Lebanon. I think the "poll" might be based on the eyes of a non-African/Middle Eastern point of view.
