Best Nike Vapor design?

The 2's look really out of place here. Just seems like a random addition from another line of shoes.

Personally the 1's, 5's and 6's do it for me.

I think the 2s and 3s look like trainers to be honest.

A lot of people are moaning about the new Vapor 9, saying that it no longer looks like a proper Vapor.

Which is your favourite Vapor design that Nike ever released?

What player does those sweaty E.T. sausage legs belong to in the Vapor Two picture? Vapor speed one in blue are far and away the greatest of the entire line. Won't purchase another Nike Tennis shoe until they design something that looks halfway decent again.

Vapor S2 really most "vapor" like of all in truest sense of word. Very minimalistic shoe. III's very good also. After that shoe continued to get more complicated.

I'm a big vapor guy... They just fit my foot right... I've had just about all of them...
I really like the newest ones... Last year and this year...
I like the design/colors... And the function...

Not meant for heavy durability, but great performance...

I really liked the 2011 version of the vapor as well.... Still have a couple pair lying around.

I have to admit I wasn't sure about the design when I first saw pictures but the Vapor 9's turned out to be great shoes. I have pretty much liked every colorway that has come out since the Olympics. I wish I could have got the red and white Olympic ones.

Surprisingly the durability is great IMO. Lasting me as long as my Courtballistecs...

In my opinion the Vapor 8's from 2011 were some of the best colors i've seen on tour in a while.

Color-wise, the gold vapor 4's were amazing. As for comfort & performance, nothing tops the 9's in my book.

Yeah. I liked Federer's Australian Open White/Yellow Vapor 8s.

It's funny how the Vapor 9 is now coming out on top here. I wish I could find that initial thread (I think it got deleted) of peoples first reactions to the Vapor 9. Most people thought they were awful and a big mistake by Nike. It always seems to be the way. People start off disliking new designs and then slowly come around.

Those are Federers custom day shoes, the Vapor IV that he used during the 2007 US Open. He mostly wore black for that event, but in the semifinal he played a day match against Davydenko and it was 30 degrees out there. He came out in white shorts and a blue polo and wore these shoes.

Skyline Vapors are the Nike RF Lunarlite Vapor Tour “White/University Blue” from the 2010 US Open. Although Federer's were custom made Vapor VI's.

The 2010 Aus Open was the Lunarlite Vapor Tour, although again fed wore custom made vapor VI...

Thanks for the info rhino I can't actually see the second and third pics you posted. I think the only pair of Vapors I ever had were the 3s or 4s.

Vapor 8 were the best looking vapors. But I didn't like wearing them because they were squeaky when walking lol
