Why would 16 not loose ''structure'' too ? What does really mean ''loose of structure'' ?

when the ball hits the strings, the strings are invariably going to be loosened because the strings are being stretched. 16g has more material to prevent it from becoming as elastic as a thinner 17g would, thereby causing tension loss, increase in power/comfort, decrease in control. 17g may have more vibration than 16g but the force of the shock to the arm (when mishitting) of the 16g is greater because it has more mass and elasticity than the 17g
