I want this thread to be used by future forum members when looking for the best overgrip. So what do you guys on tennis warehouse think that the best overgrip is? If you dont have a preference choose the one you use. But which one of these do you like best and why?

Plz disregard the other thread as it does not have a poll.

Gamma Supreme is the gold standard for todays game. I see that grip being played more and more each day. But thats quality. And people respect quality like Gamma.

I like Tourna Tac, as well as Supergrap. Wilson Pro has poor durability imo... never tried Gamma Supreme.

After reading your thread about Gamma and Pittsburgh, you really sound like an ad man at this point.

Wow, if that's the gold standard then I hope there's plenty of levels above it, platinum, titanium, iridium.

Where? On your local apartment courts in Pittsburg? You and your 3 buddies? What a joke...

There are more then 4 grips on the market. So this poll (like many others is useless).

Any "future members" with half a brain hopefully will read the actual comments about the grips and not just pay attention to some popularity contest.

At the risk of offending residents of The 'Burgh, I'm for Wilson and Yonex. Perfect blend of tack and dryness. Cool colors: Yonex light blue, Wilson white and Wilson gray.

I feel the Gamma one is too tacky and kind of plasticy. And I'm talking about their overgrips, not The 'Burgh.
I feel TournaGrip is good. The first day. Then it's papery and I want my dollar back.

My humble opinion.

it's personal reference, but the best for me is Tourna Tac. im former tournagrip user and i've used wilson pro and supergrap a while back. didn't like it.

tourna tac has the durability, absorbency, and tackiness. perfect for me. some one told i was missing out on the tourna tac, he was right. i tried it out now i like it a lot.

I have tried all of these except tournagrip. I personally use the wilson pro overgrips and prefer those over the others. Yonex's are okay. They have a fairly consistent amount of tack the whole time, but they shred quickly. Gammas have really good soft tack at first, then it smooths out very quickly. The Gammas never shred for me though, but they slip a lot. Wilsons are pretty tacky at first, then it slowly gets less tacky. I find them more durable than the Yonexs. Basically, its mostly a personal preference but it also depends how sweaty your hands get.

For me Wilson Pro overgrip went dirty and dead pretty fast. Tackiness was gone after a match.

However, Yonex Supergrap lasts me a lot longer with tackiness! Good thing I bought the 30 pack :)

I change my grips based on the day / time.

I live in FL so it gets VERY humid / hot.

Tourna is better for hot / wet conditions.

Wilson pro is better for cold / dry.

You nailed!!

Went from Wilson Pro Overgrip that got dirty and slick quite quickly for me to Babolat Pro Tour (light blue) and I find it much more durable. I little more spongy too.
