Best overgrip?

Hey guys i am struggling to find the perfect overgrip, any tips?

So far i have only used tourna grip, yonex super grap, and wilson pro overgrip a million times.

I'm looking for a white tacky overgrip.
Thanks,
Gino

Try some Tournatac. Works great for me.

Prince microzorb or something like that works too. sorry can't remember exact name.

I think you've already found the perfect overgrip... Yonex Super grap.

Of course, that is just my opinion. What don't you like about the overgrips you listed?

Prince Microtac or Dunlop Hydratac is what I would recommend if you are looking for more tackiness. The trade-off is absorption.

i only used super grap once...
pro overgrip is a little to chunky and doesn't last long.
and i didn't like the feel of tourna grip..
ill try the yonex one again..

For me, WIlson and Yonex are the best. Not tacky enough for you, huh?
Tackier? Try Paris Hilton. Thin, White. Tacky. Very tacky.

Kidding. Gamma, maybe?
Babolat makes a grip that is white. I like it a lot, too.

Well, let us know what you come up with.

Doesn't really matter, tournagrip varieties/supergrap/wilson pro... Use a wristband. If those three aren't good enough for you it's time for a rosin bag/spray on grip enhancement and if all else fails a tennis glove, but the diff between the 3 mainly used overgrips and other options is going to be quite negligible all in all. The fascination with overgrips will die down once you try out about 10 and realize there really isn't too much difference once you find one that's comparatively decent.

Supergrap is great. I prefer the black over the white (I find that when the white gets dirty, i feel it loses its qualities. Though it could very well be psychological).

Let us know how you like the Super Grap... I find that the white one plays best... it stays white longer compared to other overgrips. I also find that it is tackier as well. Pink would be my next choice. Don't know if color affects the performance, but pink and white seemed to be tackier and better feeling than orange, blue, and yellow.

tourna TAC... tackier than tourna grip, comes in a lot of colors including white, very durable. White is starting to look tired... go with teh BLue!

thanks guys,
i'm going to give super grap another shot.
also i'm going to try head super comp and wilson pro perforated.

thanks again,
gino

I've used the same Wilson Pro Perforated Overgrip for 2 5 setters and 1 3 setter and its STILL tacky and CLEAN! Still looks white with no dirt!

Not sure if this is a normal thing, as I've only just started trying them, but its amazing if they're all like this.

GAMMA SUPREME WHITE RULEZZZZ !!

Best tacky long wasting overgrip ever. If you sweat a bit, then Yonex Supergrap, but Gamma SUPREME is the best tacky OG for non sweaters.

I swear by TournaGrip.

I just stuck some Babolat VS Overgrips on my APDC, just from some ghost swings in my front room, really dont like this overgrip! It feels... cheap, and it has virtually no tack, will be regripping with Wilson Pro Perforated again before playing.

Try Wilson Peforated Pro Overgrip. I usually use Wilson Pro and Yonex Supergrap. The peforated version of Wilson Pro provides a little better traction. I've tried just about everything else and this is what I've arrived at. In case weight and balance matter to you - Regular Wilson Pro weighs 7 grams, so does the Yonex, and the Perforated verion of the Wilson weighs 5 grams.

I can't believe I'm the only fan boy of Pacific X Tac. They blow Wilson, Yonex, Gamma away....oh well. I will remain the only guy that orders these.

:)

Softest overgrip I have ever used is a Spinfire overgrip, only place I have seen them for sale is an online shop in Australia... Not very durable though, ripped through one in just over 2 sets. Very absorbent though so anybody who sweats a lot, a bucket of 60 was like $80 or so which beats any other grip on offer in our great country.

Slazenger-available a Dick's. Medium width, excellent tackiness that lasts several matches. Much better than Wilson, Gamma or Tourna. Only downside is in the middle of the summer when things get really wet, it can get slick. I switch to original TournaGrip in July and August and back to Slazenger the rest of the year. Have used it for 3 years or so as have 6-7 others at our club.
