tournagrap or wilson pro.

cheap and effective, and plus its only an overgrip, theyre not desinged to last long anyways.

I just got done demoing Wilson Pro, Yonex Grap, and Tournagrip. I've used tournagrip forever, but I wanted to try the others to make sure I was using the best grip. I bought some Wilson Pro and loved the tacky feel it gave. It's awesome for about 3 sets, but then it got real slick on me. My friends say it doesn't happen to theirs, so it may be how much I sweat.
I then tried the Yonex grip. The yonex a little more tacky at the start than the wilson did. It actually blisters me a tiny bit the first day I use it. AFter that, it smooths out a little, but stays tacky for a long time. It lasts about 10 sets for me before it starts to tear up, but never loses its tackiness.
I'm a yonex guy now.

tournagrap or wilson pro.
But I like wilson pro grip over tournagrap because tournagraps are peel so easily. Also, it gets sticky when you remove from handle.

lyeton hewiitt, i have a question:

every time you make a new thread, its about sometimes thats arguably the most discussed topic in that specific forums (like the overgrips you mentioned in the "other equipment" forum). people tell you politely to do searches, and you NEVER do. can you not read, or do you not listen? im just wondering cuz its pretty stupid how your being.

so why dont you search?

but oh well, whoever wants to waste their time replying to you can, i dont care...

used all of them and hate yonex one because of blister problem. Wilson Pro and Babolat comes so close for me. I am hitting with PD+, babolat leather grip and wilson pro and it feels great. If you want to avoid build up go with babolat VS otherwise wilson pro and VS are almost same

neither, i am now a Gamma Supreme Over Grip believer, VERY comfortable, and IMO the best overgrip on the market

I like the Wilson Pro overgrips and thats what i use. I bought a 30 pack of these off TW about a month and a half ago and havent changed yet. The first overgrips ive used were tournagrip, but i wanted to try something different so i went with the Wilson Pro overgrips and havent changed yet.

I've used both the Wilson Pro and the Yonex. They both feel the same to me. I give the Yonex the edge because of the color choices.

Wilson is probably cheaper in the long run though as most sporting goods stores that sell tennis gear stock them, so you don't have to pay shipping. The Yonex I've only found through online.

How does tournagrip feel and how long does it last?
To me, Tourna Grip feels a little like cloth but doesn't last very long. It's a feel for those who do not like tacky grips. Also doesn't get as slippery as tacky grips when wet.

Very true!!!! Tourna grip is not tacky, but in my opinion it's the best for preventing slippage when wet.

So many top players have used or are using Tourna Grip, such as : Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Marat Safin, Jim Courier, Marcello Rios, Patrick Rafter, Todd Martin, James Blake, Gustafo Kuerten, Carlos Moya, Alex Coretja, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Tommy Hass, Maria Sharapova. And with the exception of Pete Sampras, they didn't get paid for using Tourna Grips.

Personally i cant stand tourna grip.

I started using white wilson pro grips ever since i saw federer using a white grip when he beat sampras at wimbledon...

This past year, however, i started using supergrap.

the wilson grip seemed thicker... and for the first time, i started getting blisters (i still dont know why... i almost never get blisters). Also, the way I grip my rackets... it seems the supergrap is more compatible with my racket grip.

So from now on, im purely a supergrap person.

I prefer Wilson Pro Overgrip, tacky, doesn't slip, and very comfy.

Tournagrip: Rips to shreds, blisters.
Supergrap: I might have to try again, but there was something missing. (It didn't stand out from the rest though).
Alpha: Pretty good, but didn't last long.

Yonex Super Grap, especially in white. Doesn't give me blisters like the other 2 mentioned, & it stays tacky the longest.

I used TournaGrip since I've started playing (about 6 years now). I tried the Wilson Pro and it seemed too tacky for my liking. It's probably because I'm used to the way TournaGrip overgrips feel. Wilson Pro's also seem to get dirty faster, probably because of the color (white).

Supergrap...so soft feeling and stays tacky. I dunno why I even like tacky...my hand never slips but it feels nice. Prince Microzorb is pretty good too...Duratac is just ok.

Head Perforated that comes with Penn balls is the worst!
