So true, I grew up learning and playing in Dallas so I love it sadistically, it's brutal. I used to play around 6- 8 hours a day in the summers there from 8 to teen years, to me it feels like a nice warm blanket.
I'm not from a hot climate, but I feel the same way. If it's hot and humid enough that I'm covered in sweat from heat to toe, it just makes me feel like my body is properly lubricated and up to working temperature. Conversely, I hate cold or even cool temps for sports. I never feel fully loose and warmed up, and there is always that little bit of cold tension (even just on the surface) of your muscles that just doesn't feel right.
