Best Racket for Me?

Hello Tennis Warehouse. I am looking for a new racket, and I want to get some input before I make a decision.

I have been playing tennis for 1 year now, and I'd say I'm pretty good. I've been playing with a crappy $20 Wilson racket, and I just made the Varsity school team, so I need a better racket.

I was looking at this racket: http://www.amazon.com/HEAD-Liquidme...&creativeASIN=B000OQBP7C&tag=consumersearchco

but I want to know if there is anything better out there. I like how it offers power, control, and spin.

If you have any questions, please ask!

why not buy from tennis warehouse. they have liquidmetals for cheaper than that and they also have a lot more, just go and look at the sale racquets, tennis warehouse is amazing.

That's just a link I had bookmarked. I am liking Tennis Warehouse so far, so I am definitely going to buy something from them. Before I spend my money though, I want to make sure I am getting the right racket. I am looking for something that offers power, control, and at least a little spin, so this racker is the best I have found so far.

Thanks man. Back to you Fuji, which should I go with? Oversized or MidPLus? I can't really point out the difference by the descriptions.

Really, I don't believe there is THAT much of a difference. The mid plus has been said to be more comfortable for most, but there are tons of information about in on the threads if you do a quick search. I found no big difference between the two, but I preferred the mid+, just because I like smaller head sizes.

Which racket is best for power, control, and spin? So far I
Leaning towards MG Radical OS.

And how come the Babolat Pure Drive 107 GT doesn't compare? It sounds like it offers all 3.

Actually I am not so much concerned with power as I am with the other two. I'm pretty sure I can generate power myself, if that means swinging harder and faster. But I would still like a racket with some power.

I'm not saying it doesn't compare, I'm just saying that it is equal to the PD with a LOT cheaper cost! Think about it. you can get 2 for the price of one, which is a great deal imo. :)

Power is going to be more for the OS, but control is going to be more for the MP, and strings are your main source of spin. :)

Does the MP offer any power at all? And can I get a good amount of spin with factory string? I have no idea about strings. I think it would be best for me to stick with tue free strings anyway, I'm limited on budget.

Oh of course, power is available in pretty much all rackets. As long as you have decent swing speed and good strokes, your power is going to be just fine. As for spin, I honestly can't tell you, if you have good techniques, the stock strings should be fine until they break or you decide you need new ones. I play with both 88,95, and 100 square inch rackets, and they all provide immense power because I have ridiculously fast swing speeds, and good core rotation. Just work on your technique and power will come. :)

Now my last question. What's the difference between MicroGel and Loquidmetal? Do they both increase forgiveness?

Liquidmetal is just the model before MicroGel if I remember correctly. They are both solid rackets. It's really a preference between people's choice and budgets. Both will do you very well in the long term with whichever you choose!
