Best shoe for cushioning?

I have been wearing the New Balance 1002, largely for its excellent cushioning. Any tips on the best tennis shoes out there for cushioning?

IF NEW BALANCE is your idea of cushioning you might as well play in sandals, try Addidas Barricades 3 or 4 you will know what cushioning is all about.

I agree, I found New Balance to have very little cushioning. I think Barricade III's are the most cushioned, maybe too much

I've found the New Balance CT1200 series to be very comfortable. I believe they have a bit more cushioning than the 1002. (And they have a great warrenty.)

i hear Asics gel in general is extrememeemmemeely comfortable. like the Asics Nimbus.

So, how about the Asics Resolution? TW sells it. great looking shoe! (davydenko's)

Barricade IV are anytime better cushioned then 3.

or Try Reebok Match Day pump shoes.

1. Breathe Free II
2. Breathe Free III
3. Breathe Cage

I like the BF2's the best because they required no break in for me. They were the best shoe I have ever owned.

Using Reebok NetMaster's feels like walking on a pillow - excellent cushioning. however, stability is mediocre.

I'm wearing the BF2s when I play recently. However, I would not describe them as feeling highly cushioned. I'd call them moderately cushioned with more of a responsive, competitive shoe feel.

From what I've heard, the Reebok match day pump is considered one of the most cushioned rides available, along with some Prince shoes.

ah i see...don't want it then I guess. what would you have been able to do with the receipt? Like from TW.com for example...

breathe cage has very good cushioning and they're fairly light. I've worn the reebok Match Day pump, they do have pretty good cushioning but they're sooo heavy but they did last a long time.

i'd rate the breathe 3s as more cushioned than the BF2s....the breathe 3 cushioning is more solid and is longer lasting than the BF2s...i've had airbags pop on both pairs of my BF2s...not to mention at one time, the airbag bulged out the bottom of the outsole....interesting...but it had been my replacement pair and it was past 2 years of manufactured date...so it didnt really matter

my barricade 4s dont have as much cushioning as the breathes 3...sure they're more stable and responsive...but not as well cushioned.

New Balance is the best.
the Nikes...I used th swear by em, but i got fed up of paying $90+ every 4-5 months on a new pair. I currently have the 780 NV for 5 months now and it is still going with about 2 more months worth of sole left. AND it is much more comfortable than the Breathe Free IIs. I went thru 3 of em. NB has improved their shoe style. give em a try. onsale for $50 at TW. same 6 month outsole warranty.
