Best Soft String for Spin

Hi, everyone.

I like Federer's setup, (gut on mains, poly on crosses). I am looking for a soft synthetic gut or multi that offer great spin, comfort and feel. Durability is not a problem for since I am not a string breaker and I use string savers.

Please give me some suggestion under $10 per set.

I don't have too much experience with multis lower than $10 so I can't really help you. Sorry. But what I hear, Yonex Pro, Tecnifibre Multifeel, and Babolat Addiction and Attraction are some to try.

Of all the soft co-poly's I've tried, VOLKL V-Square was the most impressive for spin.
It is crazy soft and stretches as you string it, holds tension much better than cyclone, works at a wide range of tensions, and lasts OK, especially at it's price point.
Lower powered and stiffer when strung at higher tensions like 53+. More lively at lower tensions.

If you’re not a string breaker, why not just go for the gut/poly?

Mayami polies are very soft and come down to under USD10 per set...

Honestly, from my three sticks, two are strung like you ( and Federer) with gut/poly at 55/50 and they just sit in my bag, while I play with a third stick, that has a softer poly/poly at 48/45, more controlled and that I can swing with more confidence (generate more power) at half the price.
Sure I may need to re-string it twice as fast though after 12-20 h or so (12h so far and counting)

Weiss cannon and gut is Perfecto but in 18x20 is too heavy. I had long time in head Gravity. I had cronic elbow pain. And it low it too much. So I’ll try isospeed cream and tornado in Prince 100x. That is even soft than Gravity tour. I think weiss cannon and gut in 16x18 will not weight too much. But I’m waiting the Prince, the cream and the tornado jajaja. I will tell you soon about.

I forgot. The quasi gut tourna is very similar to gut in tension manteinence. It go fast like 8 hr in 18x20. But is very light compared to gut, great combo too. WCUC and quasi gut.
