you might want to try pro hurricane tour, its softer, but tension maintenance ain't so good.

ALU rough is really good poly. I use Bab Hurricane Tour 16g in my MEP and it plays great. Tension has only dropped a little and the feel is still crisp after several weeks. I find that all versions of ALU get kind of dull and "thudy" after a short while. The BHT seems to stay crisper (if you like crisp

well I have pure drive roddicks and have experimented alot with different strings.my favourite so far is pro's pro nano cyber power 1.25 mm.I first tryed a sample my mate gave me ( a top 500 player) and loved it.so I bought a whole roll.
I strung it at 63 but I will probaly drop the tension a little on the next one.
