Best Stringing Machine For Racquetball

I'm on the fence between these 3 machines, I just don't know which is better The Prince Neos 1500, The Gamma X-ST with a stand and The Gamma 6004, I plan on getting a wise later. I like the 6 point mounting which is better better and won't warp racquets. And it doesn't block mains like I've seen other machines. I don't honestly get the difference between the Gammas, but I've heard the Neos is one of the best machines of all times. Does a wise also make stringing faster? Sorry to ramble on but which machine is better for stringing racquetball? Thanks

You're looking in the wrong place. I would check out a racquetball stringing community rather than tennis first if all. But that being said there are several racket ballets on here too so maybe they could help you out. One thing you need to do is check out how racket are mounted on the machine. I seem to remember someone having problems with a two point (actually 4 point) but not sure which model.

Certain racquetball frames can only be pulled from the top. Certain RB frames also have G..D...F.. channels at the throat that the mains must go thru in the exact order specified. I think you are asking for a period of profanity the 1st time you find this out. I believe @lionel_101 is the guy who does a lot of RB frames.

Stringing some of those racquetball rackets looks less than fun.

So the consensus on this tennis forum seems to be: "the best stringing machine for racquetball is whatever machine the guy you pay to string your racquetball rackets uses, because I sure as hell don't want to do it!"

Not sure what the fuss is, if you don't string a lot, get the cheapest, they all work, just make sure it has a racquet ball adapter kit.

I string those PITA flyswatters on my Prince 1500. No one else in my area will do them. I print up the diagrams and instructions and keep them handy. They take a long time to string so I charge quite a premium. This angers the blue ball hitters, but I am their only option!

I string a fair amount of r-ball racquets and I would recommend 2 pt mounting. However, far more important than the mounting system is the clamping system. You are going to be doing a lot of fan shaped patterns, so swivel clamps will really make your life easier. At the sort of tensions called for in r-ball, you really don't need to worry about frame support. BTW, the Neos used to be called the Ektelon Neos. Should tell you something.

I am very biased and will claim to be too stupid to do racquet ball frames. So, I avoid all the associated pain and suffering with stringing these infernal things.

Brilliant. The self-effacing approach is so much easier and more effective than just saying "no".

It keeps racquet ball players from asking me multiple times to do their frames. Take a look at the manner the mains have to be done. Look at the throat shapes!

Ain't no way I want to do something like that. :p

I'm sorry for them, but no way am I going to sacrifice my sanity for them.

The thing about doing racquet ball racquets is that once you get to know how to do them, they are damn easy and you can charge the same price or more than a tennis racquet. Now, if you want to talk Badminton racquets, well that's a different story, they are easy enough, but it's just tedious as hell, though there are some that can do them in a few minutes.. I'm thinking they are ping pong players.
