Best True Synthetic Gut?

Guys, in your opinion, what is the best synthetic gut on the market in terms of: 1) playability and 2) durability. This is not for a hybrid set up but rather a full string job.

I've played with Gamma, Wilson Extr., Prince w/ DF, and Bab Super Fine Play. Am I overlooking anything?

Please...no Luxilon overtures

^_^ Same stuff Ive used IMO I liked Prince w/ DF the most, then Wilson Extreme... Gosen Sheep Micro is a pretty cheap string, isnt that bad... What Synthetic did you like?

I like that term "true synthetic gut." I believe that qualifies as an oxymoron.

I'll say it yet again. I've tried them all and think that OG Sheep Micro on a reel is the best deal in town bar none. It is the same stuff as Prince syngut original, but plays a lot better than the duracrap stuff. At around $1.20 a string job, it's a steal. I also think the durability is a lot better than a multifilament string, probably due to the monocore.

Try some in the single pack.

Without a doubt the best synthetic strings are multifilaments and not the synthetic gut with a core. Technifibre 515, Wilson Sensation or NXT, Dunlop Max Comfort, Alpha Gut 2000, take your pick there all pretty good. My all time favorite is the Original synthetic gut, Blue Star Orginal. Make from layers of nylon twisted much like natural gut. Almost all other Synthetic Guts are just a "name" and another word for "fancy nylon".

Best high-end multi with gut like playability IMO is Tecnifibre's new X-One BiPhase. A huge improvement over NRG2 which was a pretty good string.

tetsuo10, you can buy OG Micro generic in a reel on TW for about $30 for a 660' reel. You can get about 20 string jobs out of it on a mid-sized racquet. You could do around 15 or so mid-plus or OS frames.

Tetsuo,
Once I got the 660' on **** for $24, but just buy the thing from TW because it is easier and the price difference isn't much.

According to TW, the 660' reel and the 330' reel are the same stuff, but the Gosen name isn't ink-jetted on the 660. Printing the name on the string is apparently far more expensive than you'd think. I've purchased both and the sticker on the reel looks the same and I haven't noticed any playability difference.
