Best version of the Estusa Power Beam?

Thread revive! I just came back to tennis last year after a 22 year lay off. I was disappointed that some of my favorite racquet companies were either barely on the map, had been bought and changed or were completely gone. Donnay, Fischer and of course Estusa.

I've been playing testing a ton of racquets trying to recapture the feeling I had hitting the ball when I was much younger and have had mixed results. A few days ago, on a whim and being nostalgic, I had my old Estusa Powerbeam restrung with some polyester strings, at a reasonable tension and took it on the court. I was immediately reminded of why I loved that racquet! The ball flew effortlessly. The frame was comfortable and had great control, consistency and targeting. I loved hitting it so much that I decided to track down and get another one. Unfortunately **** didn't yield any reasonable results. Plenty of every other PB models but not the standard old PB. Anyone ever figure out where we might get some? What is a comparable frame? The other PB models are all too heavy and too stiff. The standard PB was the lightest and most flexible of the bunch. Still hunting, but the outlook isn't good.

Boris Becker world championship frames are better and you can buy them new on ****.

I understand what you mean. Can't never quite adapt to a "modern" frame so I stick to my old ones (not Estusa). I'm sure you will find some PB here or one fleabay... sometimes it's just a long journey. And welcome back to the game

I've been hitting a lot of more modern frames , trying to hit with more topspin. But I naturally have always used an Eastern grip which doesn't gel as well with the modern swing style. As soon I swung the PB everything felt more natural for me.

SW: 317
Balance: 31.75 cm

Strung, with just one overgrip (no basegrip).

Back to playing my Estusa Power beam, can't find anything that plays like it in the modern era. Have been acquiring Puma racquets lately. I've read that Power Beam pro is similar to the Puma Super. Which Puma may be similar to the standard Power Beam? The Winner?

The power beam and the pro I believe are the same frame with different balance pts ..
The super puma had a 63 RA stiffness new
The winner was 59 RA stiffness new
Both were standard weights back then 12 oz unstrung . No overgrip . No bumper gaurds
