Links Awakening is bar none the best handheld game ever made. It puts most non handheld console games to shame.
That game is incredible
Coming to the switch in September.
I hope so. Wii U has it so it shouldn't be too hard. Will they port wind waker ???
Many thought TP was not that fun

Pretty decent system. Specially because you can play pretty much anywhere.Anybody have the Switch? Is it any good? Like Mario games, always have. Zelda?
Should I play FF8 9 or Chrono trigger next ?Golden Sun would like to have a word with you
Micro transactions ruin many games for me.I just want one good Need for Speed game. EA simply can't deliver anything anymore, they're only concerned with micro-transactions and scalping people on loot boxes.
Codemasters is trying to ruin F1 series with that as well, but they're only at the beginning. Nowadays FIFA series is all about ultimate team and this concept spread through other games like a cancer. Everything now is some kind of Battle Royale or multi-player based games.Micro transactions ruin many games for me.
Kids these days can't stay interested in a storyline for long enough.Codemasters is trying to ruin F1 series with that as well, but they're only at the beginning. I don't see any game with a storyline like the original Mafia in the near future.

Not so sure I buy into that, but I could be way off. I just think social media has bred a more involved multiplayer and social driven platform. Then again, the last Star Wars game I played was one of the best stories for a game I had seen. Almost like it's own made up movie. Not sure how true this is. Narrative driven games are being produced more than ever. Perhaps in ratio it's less because of the immense amount of sparrow-span mobile games being released, but gaming has moved on a long way from the days of the arcade and is now a serious storytelling medium. People now expect storylines with their games even with an upcoming release such as Streets of Rage 4.
Haven’t played FF8 or 9 but I highly recommend chrono Trigger
I bought it. Can’t wait. Trying to 100 percent FF7 so I’ll be busy with this for probably a few more weeks. Such a gigantic gameHaven’t played FF8 or 9 but I highly recommend chrono Trigger
I loved ff6 but I couldn’t get into 7 for some reason when I played itI bought it. Can’t wait. Trying to 100 percent FF7 so I’ll be busy with this for probably a few more weeks. Such a gigantic game
Been away from home all week but I’m still on FF7 near the last disc though.

lol I just did Wutai. Got lazy on the side questsI'm at Wutai and am wonderingwhy my materia hasn't been stolen by Yuffie, and then realised I never picked her up in my party.

Recently learned that there's a skip that lets you go straight from tifa's bar to the wall market. Skips the 2nd reactor + airbuster and the little aeris segment completely.I'm at Wutai and am wonderingwhy my materia hasn't been stolen by Yuffie, and then realised I never picked her up in my party.

I sometimes fall asleep to calebhart speedrunning that game. Somewhat related note, I really like ffix speedruns also, but I wasn't a big fan of the game as a kid.
'Ever' is hard to answer. Games that are ingrained in me are things like Zelda LTTP, the original DOOM, Thunder Force 4, Secret of Mana, Dynamite Headdy, Shining Force 2, Final Fantasy 7 / X, Guardian Heroes, Exhumed (Power Slave in US), Phantasy Star Online, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, Streets of Rage Remake... Oh and my favourite party game is Death Tank Zwei, a mini game unlockable on the Saturn version of Duke Nukem 3D (also a great game) if you have a Quake (cool game) or Exhumed save file (not sure if only PAL).
A recent game that I'd put up there would be Hollow Knight. It's absolutely masterful. The sequel was revealed earlier this year and I can't wait.
LAWL. I wonder if anyone gave a ****e at the time? I mean, it's hardly a big time franchise or anything.

The Messenger interests me for sure. Gonna get Blazing Chrome this week, which basically looks like a cross between Contra Hard Corps and Metal Slug (apparently with a weapon mechanic similar to the great Gunstar Heroes).Nah I didn't get a response. For those in the know though the indie game market is becoming a bigger and bigger deal. There's a Steam sale about to end so you might want to look into titles like La-Mulana, Sundered, The Messenger, Timespinner, Ori, and see if they might appeal seeing as you played HK.
