Best video game you ever played?

This Zelda game is taking me forever
It said 20 hrs on game room boards

I am over 60 I bet and I am always lost as I near the end

Never played Final Fantasy game, but I want to. What system and what games should I start with?

6, 7, 9, and 10 are the only must plays imo. I’d start with 10. It’s the most linear but you still get the basics of a FF game. Then I’d go in order starting with 6. 4 is another good one to start with. It’s a basic cookie cutter game with interesting characters and some cool places you journey to.

Are these on PS4?

I think 7 is in the virtual ps store. Idk about 9 and 10. I think 10 has a remastered version for the ps3 not sure if it will work on a ps4. All the ones I mentioned are available on steam although 4 doesn’t use the original graphics. It’s easy to find a rom and snes emulator if you want the original.

I'M BACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Can’t go through the whole thread but has anyone correctly said Descent and Command and Conquer?

battlefield 1942 Desert Combat mod for extra points

League of Legends easily stands out for me. The competitive nature, constant updates, and the sheer variety of strategies you can use keep it fresh. Whether you're a casual player or grinding ranked games, there's always something new to learn or improve. Plus, the team-based gameplay makes each match feel unique. If you want to step up your game or try a new approach without risking your main account, our aged League of Legends Smurf accounts offer enhanced security, as they have been inactive for years, reducing the risk of bans. Perfect for players who want a reliable, unranked Smurf with no penalties, ready for ranked games instantly.

Dota 2 is the deepest, most varied MOBA out there with the best viewing experience in the genre as a spectator esport.

But best game ever is Baba Is You.

I loved playing Metropolitan Street Racer on Sega Dreamcast. Some days I played through the night and got only an hour or two of sleep. Luckily I was younger. I don't think I could do that now.

Palworld. This game took up a good few hours of my life, but I don’t regret a thing. I love it even more now that my friends and I got a private server from supercraft.host. With the private server, we get faster speeds, zero lag, and the whole experience is so much more stable.

Anyone here play myst or riven? Those games were the first to blow my mind. @MichaelNadal ??

Only modern game I really got invested in was farcry3 and a few assassins creed games. Up to halo 3 was a blast but only cause of online play.

Playing Hollow Knight rn. Probably my fourth time going through it. Quite a good game. Don’t think I’d put it at the very top but it’s very well made.

Yeah, they were the first high res graphics (because they used stills) immersive games. If you liked them, you'll like The Room (1-4).

I liked FC3 for the characters, but thought FC2 had a better premise and presentation (I know it's pretty unpopular).

Though Half Life 2, the Bioshock series and Metro Exodus created worlds that pulled you in.

Nah I didn't get a response. For those in the know though the indie game market is becoming a bigger and bigger deal. There's a Steam sale about to end so you might want to look into titles like La-Mulana, Sundered, The Messenger, Timespinner, Ori, and see if they might appeal seeing as you played HK.
Crap game sequel sizzlereeled for 2025 release on Switch 2; rejoice! (@Third Serve)

Also finally got round to something I noticed is on your above list: Ori (DE - after finishing non-DE and realizing you can't resume a completed file on that version after the fact...); had a great time with it. Dunno if I can stomach going for a deathless run.

Been sucked into the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series again. I'm just annoyed because I still haven't got my PS5 fixed. Bloody hdmi port letting the side down. Yeah , PS5 is made with junk. Such bulky nonsense.

The Infinite Wealth storyline was as mad as ever, a couple of great new characters. Gameplay is amazing. And we had this. One more time, baby.

Chills every time I watch. Once Kasuga saw Kiryu with the slick back hair and suit, he just knew that everything was going to be OK. Dragon of Dojima forever!
