just broke the strings on my racquet..
I had always heard the best way to do it was from the centre out, in an attempt to equalize pressure on the racquet. Maybe just me.
heard the same thing and watch pros do it so thats what i do, i start with the middle cross then go clockwise getting bigger each time around

I just take a samurai sword and carefully...

until all string is cleanly separated from the frame without a scratch.
