Better than Nadal at 3 out 4 slams

But things like 11-7 to Nadal in the majors, and 7-0 to Djokovic in 2015-2016 when Nadal was below par put a different spin on 30-29 Djokovic. Djokovic at this point has outlasted Nadal, even though Nadal probably got more big blows in against Djokovic than the other way round.
I Think nadal djokovic and federer all have arguments to be greatest. Would be good to get Nadal back fit and a contender next season.

So many different arguments here and most are actually true.
Yes, as of now, I believe Novak Djokovic is the tennis GOAT after reaching 24 Slams. He’s now sitting at 14 HC Slams, which matches Rafa’s 14 CC Slams (despite obviously the fact that there are double the HC Slams per year), and that’s some achievement.
Yes, it doesn’t change de fact that, lately, he’s been having cakewalks to Slams titles and that’s fair to be acknowledged, but it also doesn’t change the fact that he has to be there to beat whoever is across the net and he’s been doing so convincingly, usually.
I also believe that, at 10 finals, despite the losing h2h, he’s likely ahead of Nadal is the US. Still, it is only fair to be noted that: 1- Yes, the winning h2h is very important, specially because those were 3 Fs. 2- Nadal lost some opportunities at USO at crucial moments due to injuries and that could’ve changed how things went.
I think people are getting overly disrespectful towards Nadal here.
Nadal’s has beaten world n2 Djokovic, world n1 Djokovic, (very well playing) world n5 Mad and the 2017 run was not remotely worse than this year’s.

2017 run had no top 10 wins. Nole beat fritz and world number 3 Medvedev. Nadal's 2019 can be compared to this. Barely.

Not 2017.

I’m sure you know this is the fakest argument out there. SF+F Nadal had to beat Delpo, who’s an USO champion, was coming from beating Roger and would play the final the next year, and Anderson, who was peaking in his career, would become a two-time Slam finalist and beat Roger at W’18. Sure, Daniil is a tougher challenge, but that makes for the F alone. Fritz is nowhere near these guys and played like a complete utter bum.

Federer was injured. Delpo wasn't in good enough form in 2017.

Novak has more wins, more top 10 wins and a better win percentage. Plus he missed it last year when he would have been favorite to win.
hE miSseD iT lAst yEar lol, and you're the first to say you don't care about Rafa's injuries. Why do you give slams to Djokovic when he didn't even participate?

Fine, even despite last years sham, he is still ahead of Nadal. More wins and top 10 wins, better win percentage. Nadal is only better at RG now.

Because you Nadal fans don't know difference between forced withdrawal and injury withdrawal. Nolefams don't type like you said. Honestly you sound like early Facebook era user who thinks we nolefams don't know things. We know the history and we also know tennis.

That's why every Djokovic fan says "starting with 2011" because you know history so well.

Yeah I think Djokovic is ahead now. He’s got more finals, better consistency, more wins and went through tougher draws too.

Nadal has the H2H which is big plus but not enough to compensate everything else in Novak’s favour.
Especially this year it was a very tough draw. Berrettini was in the semifinal when people were calling Nadal's win the Berrettini open, right? Djokovic just won the Shelton open.

Yeah nice try. Aren’t you forgetting all those years when Djokovic and Federer had to battle in us open semis and Nadal was lucky to be on the other side.

You talk about weak draws? Especially after the joke us open 2017 draw.

Even in us open 2013 Nadal got weak gasquet and Novak got peak Wawrinka in semi.

Then we had us open 2010 where Djokovic went 5 sets with prime Fed and Nadal had Youzhny lol

Nadal fans should be the last to talk about weak us open draws.

That's a Nadal fans opinion. Same fritz has 2-2 H2H vs Nadal.
Fritz has beaten broken-ribbed and abdominal-teared Nadal. Got beaten ny abdominal-teared groundgame goating Nadal. Be reasonable, mate. Fritz played this year’s QF like a Challenger player and you know it. If you read my text, you know I’m not taking things away from Djokovic, but don’t fool yourself or try to fool me on Fritz’ level.

Fritz had his own rib issues in IW and beat fit Nadal like a drum. Yes fritz played bad and the reason is Nole. We don't give anything away.

rafa playd 16 times and made 9 QFs (56%)
nole played 17 times and made 10 FS (59%)

rafa has a half as many finals as nole!

rafa has never met fed in USO.

rafa has met fed and nole 3 times in USO and 16 times in RG!
Wow. Talk about dodging. It seems like Rafans were trolling all these years then. Exactly the point of my post.

The guy has 3 slam matches vs Nole and 0 vs fed and somehow we have to be ashamed because Nole had some issues in finals. We are not ashamed at all. It all adds to his greatness.

Lol of course if you add 2003(17) and 2004 then they are close and Nadal still comes short despite older. The fact is Djokovic just missed 2022 last year or maybe one more but Nadal 5 times couldn't play the tournament. So he didn't have as many chances.

Reading all this weird intense stuff you can see how people end up in violent brawls at stadiums and sports bars.

We project our identity onto our preferred player, then turn them into our god.

Then we seek to slay the unbelievers who have profaned the temple of our fan-idolatry.

Is super weird. The goat race has revealed our inner psychos.

Interesting stat since Djoko fans like stats so much: Djokovic played 5 more slams than Rafa (72 Djokovic, 67 Nadal) despite Rafa being older.
Also, slams like Wimbledon where Rafa retired just before the semi vs Nick were counted in this, at one point Nadal won more than a third of the gs he entered. (22 out of 64)

Yes we know this stat. It also is adding to his greatness. Longetivity. If not for bans he would have 74 participations. Novak took extreme health care. And it's a good thing that he is so fit to be just a match away from CYGS again this year.

It's not that interesting it should be well known to all fans. And Djokofans this is despite your guy missed couple slams last year so imagine how many Nadal missed. This also not includes mid tournament or mid match retirings...

We know it. We don't give any browny points for Nadal because he was injured more. It's part of professional tennis career. He had to keep himself fitter.
