Thanks for the thread. Love 27.5 inch frames my TW Pure Aero+ frames. Used a 28 inch 95"16x20 Wilson 6.2 Hammer Stretch for years.

Do you have a recommended video on how to extend a frame like the PA VS that only comes in a standard length 27"? This is a video one TT member posted.

Enjoyed the episode, and thanks for taking my question.

Its funny they mentioned bringing back the 6.1 Stretch and Pure Control/Storm + frames as I used both of those 15-20 years ago (along w/ the RD Power 10 Long). I've always wanted to snag one of those & string them up w/ low tension full poly just to see how they'd play (I used them in the days of Kevlar/gut). But...at 330g unstrung, I might not be able to handle them anymore...

Thanks @Jster

Wish I could find those ingredients that he listed in his video in the US.

If anyone you know sells those items in the US, please include a name and link here in this thread. I don't mind ordering from the links he listed but wanted to see if I can find the needed materials sooner in the US.

@g4driver -- Check the art/architectural and craft stores -- Blick, Sam Flax, Binders, Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

My game has suddenly taken off this year thanks to newfound confidence to wield extended frames.

Extra length absolutely boosts my serve, and makes it more worthwhile to expend energy going for an offensive serve.

Also, my 2hb likes the extra leverage that opens up the sharper angle crosscourt in rallies.

The forehand is the shot for me that has precluded me from warming to extended frames in the past. But I’ve found that using a dense pattern and the right balance can alleviate this issue, and I’m now very comfortable using well balanced extended frames on forehand wing.

I’ve found a new sweet spot in 95-98” headsize, 18x20 pattern, 27.25”, 13 oz, 12.7” balance and 355-360sw that gives me combination of electricity on serves, confidence in ground game, and crisp volleys.

Agree with everything you said here, extended length for serve, small headsize & dense pattern for control, high SW for power. Extended frame is a lot of fun to play with

A great listen. I currently play with the prior EZONE 98+. Can’t wait to impulsively buy the new one at 2am some time soon.

Agree with (I think it was) Troy that a VCORE Pro 97 extended would be something I’d want to try.
