Which one do you think is the best, need a string with good spin, pretty good power, feel, and control.

Any suggestions I have already been disappointed with barbwire, MSV focus hex, black code, and going to try BHBR again. I was only happy with Polyfibre Black Venom Rough

These seem to be the most popular ones, are there any better polys?Topspin Cyber Blue?

Just realized I forgot to add Signum Pro Poly-Plasma 17 (1.23) String :P

When I played it, BHBR was god-like for two hours, then average for another 2, then garbage. B5E was great for the first 4 hours, then good for another 15-20. If money were no object and I didn't have to keep stringing it, I'd take BHBR. But for the money (and labor), I prefer B5E.

So we all agree that BHBR and BH7 is better than B5E

Not even close. It depends on what you want. Tourna makes strings that play okay for a little while, then they die and have uncontrollable power. B5E has far better tension maintenance than any of the tourna strings, but plays better in a hybrid than a full bed. If you want full poly, go with the either BHBR or BH7, but be prepared to restring more often.

I'd agree with you on BHBR, but not BHB7. I played with those strings for countless hours and ended up breaking them and did not notice hardly any drop off in play. Great string.

To each their own. I didn't care much for BHB7.

how many hours did you get out of BHB7 before they snapped? mine broke at the 4 hr mark. small drop off in spin at the 2 hr mark. big drop off in spin at the 3 hr mark. it's a good string, but durability is quite poor.

I'm getting a little bit longer on my most recent set..maybe 6 hours so far. I haven't noticed any drop off in spin. Durability is definitely lower than other polys, but at that price it's not a big deal.

you might want to give Iontec a try. it's almost impossible to break and it doesn't go dead as nearly fast as BHB7. and is only $7/set or $70/reel. it's a great string.

how is the feel and comfort of this string:confused:

feel is good. above average for a poly, but not great. i found a full bed to hurt my joints, but coupled w/ more comfortable cross string like Polystar Energy in a hybrid, it's quite good. feel also improves in this hybrid set up. just for reference, in a full bed, i consider Iontec a copoly that offers the best feel and comfort.

btw, i also use the BC20.

Well the bc20 is my back up, I use the custom 90 percent of the time, sounds like bhbr is better suited to me, but I need a bit more control :P
