Bicycle trailer

Can anyone recommend a bicycle trailer that will carry a ball machine like a Lobster or Silent Partner along with a hopper of balls. I've looked on the web and see what is out there. I am only going to be traveling about 1 mile one way, and will use the trailer to haul fishing gear and trips to the grocery. If you have one can you take a pic at your convenience with the hopper in the trailer bed.

The Schwinn would be a superior choice if the price is in line with your expectations. It will fit a Lobster Elite or SP scoop with the hopper inverted easily. I’d recommend not trying to transport the unit with the hopper in the use position. The CG will be too high and potential for tipping potentially present. Put your balls in a stuff sack.

I do not know if there is anything in inventory that could carry a ball machine and a hopper of balls. Most are designed for 2-3 grocery bags of stuff. I would visit a bike shop and ask them because they should know if anyone does. 2-4 wheels, at least 48" L and at least 24" W is what I would???

I saw that item with Search. You will be carrying about 40-50 lbs, so who knows if it will work or not. All you can do is ask the folks at a bike shop. You do not have to buy, but if they have it for you to trial, it would make life much easier.

Look for an older secondhand Chariot trailer, a model that was designed to take a couple of kids, you might have to modify the layout to suit your load. Chariot was a top brand that made good quality stuff that you felt safe putting your kids in. They were really expensive new, but you should save a bunch on an older secondhand one.

Burley was the brand that was greatly recommended when I cycled and my kids were younger. I had some inexpensive one and it worked good enough but I wasn't hauling but at most two small kids.
