It's a stretch to call Murray an "all-time great" (and an even bigger stretch to call Wawrinka that), but even if you limit it to the Big 3, Nadal comfortably leads in this department.

Murray and Wawrinka are great players in their time, but considering we used to talk about "all time greats" starting in the region of 6 time slam champs like Becker and Edberg, it feels like lowering the standard to accommodate guys like Murray or Wawrinka. The Big 3 sorta stopped anyone else becoming all time greats, imho.

Are we lowering the standard to compare Becker and Edberg to the Big 3 (or even to Sampras and Borg)?

I kinda agree but would you consider Sampras in their league or not?

Murray would be a 9 time Slam winner in any other era. Stanimal has a very high peak. Defeated 3 GOAT candidates to win his Slams.

2) Borg (1979-80) 2
3) McEnroe (1984), Lendl (1987), Federer (2006), Nadal (2013), Murray (2016) 1

Years with >2400 Elo rating

7) Connors (1976, 1978-79, 1982) 4
8) Laver (1969), Vilas (1977), Becker (1989), Murray (2016) 1

Don't take it seriously when it comes to tennis given what I just showed you LOL.

Man! You're a Bleach fan! Haha I somehow didn't notice your avatar is Ichigo. I haven't read the mange or watched the anime but love how he says 'getsuga tenshou!'

I watched Naruto for the first time a couple of months ago. Loved it. Would love to watch some Bleach too.

Yeah, thanks for noticing. I like Bleach a lot and I definitely recommend it to you ;)

Getsuga Tenshou is his signature move and you'll be seeing it a lot :p

The anime is also returning probably next year to animate its final arc.

Wins over other Big3:

AO: Djokovic 6 > Nadal 3 > Federer 2
RG: Nadal 12 > Djokovic 2 > Federer 1
WI: Djokovic 5 > Federer 4 > Nadal 1
UO: Djokovic 4 > Federer 3 > Nadal 2

Djokovic is the best at 3 slams and the worst at 0.
Nadal is the best at 1 slam and the worst at 2.
Federer is the best at 0 slams and the worst at 2.
