Hmm... I wonder why?
With the days off between the round robin matches it is the complete opposite of a slam as far as stamina needs. Ergo Zverev who is horrible in slams does extremely well here. Young female players are doing well at slams in WTA because its the same way, majors for WTA are physically easier than the regular tour events. For ATP, Indian Wells, Miami, and WTF are the only events physically easier than the typical tour event.

Precisely.

After an arduous and gruelling season, is it any wonder that people 10+ years younger than the Big 3 have more stamina and quicker recovery times?

Actually that is all false. Big 3 have a much lighter schedule. I doubt they play anything tired. Peak stamina of course is in 30's.

There's nothing "false" about it.

They have a lighter schedule because their bodies are gradually failling to stand up to the impact of high intensity, professional tennis.

The grotesque spectacle of the London exho means nothing more than some of the younger guns can outlast knackered 32-38 year-olds to claim pyrrhic victories.

Come the conclusion of AO 2020, I doubt that we will be discussing anyone other than Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic as champion.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me at all. Who could've guessed when Djokovic won it for the 4th straight year in 2015 that he'd never go on to win it again? o_O I think at the time even the most ardent of Federer fans had accepted that he'd at least equal the record by the time he was done.
