Of course, hard court and grass results tend to be much more correlative with each other, so this is an overblown point.

B- for effort though.

Your end result is right however reasoning is wrong.

Great grass court players have always found the talent to adapt themselves at Hard courts than clay court players.

The real question is whether those preposterous numbers at the FO from Nadal are because he's so good or because of a weak clay era with his two key rivals below 50%.

Hmm.
Strongeradal: 18 meetings with top 10 players in WIM & USO combined.
Weakeraerer: 19 meetings with top 10 playwrs in RG, 22 in both WIM & USO, 29 at AO (record!).

...but any problem cannot be found?

Nadal's RG percentage is incredible however you look at it, though. We should call him 'the sand demon'.

Obviously Nadal had the hardest competition with roughly 59% of the top 10 meetings that Federer has had.

False dichotomy, man. He's extremely good in a weak clay era.
Natf's false dawn exposed?

It's funny how each man has played exactly 22 top 10 matches at their respective 'pet' slams. Also, how they tend to play more in Australia than anywhere else (barring Nadal in Paris) that really does seem like it's the most neutralish out of all of them.

Well, can a clay era be considered weak when there's only been one single top claycourter around for the last twelve years?

"Dismal" would probably be closer to the truth, wouldn't it?

As to the number of times they faced top 10 opponents, the difference is pretty telling. Fed must really have benefitted from a super weak era if he hasn't played 100 top 10's in slams yet. I mean, our Rafa has already played more than 50, so...

(And these 3 USO's with a 5-4 record are just mind-boggling. It's totally possible that he ends his career on a negative ratio there, it's just crazy. There's luck of the draw, and then there's luck of the draw Rafa-style, he really is the GCOAT (greateast cupcakedrawer of all time).) ;)

Federer has 2 pet slams (in his day he was unbeatable at USO and Wimbledon). Nadal has RG, Djokovic has AO, and Murray has Wimby. Federer has no single one like that.

Murray isn't even in the conversation man :D

The funny thing is even if you remove both of Federer's best slams he still comes out with better numbers than Djokodal.

It is astounding, isn't it? Bring up any stat with Fed and it boggles your mind

Well either you mis-wrote or I misread.
Well that is true. He doesn't have one pet Slam, he has 2. That is clearly a positive not a negative. (Don't assume all Nole fans are out to get Fed haha) My point was that the term "Pet Slam" is not applicable to Federer.

Just out of curiosity, what are Murray's numbers?

What's the craziest stat: how about the fact that Djokovic has the same top 10 win ratio on the surface where he struggles most at Wimbledon, as he does for Melbourne where he is a 6-time champ.

I'm not assuming that at all, but the way you phrased it suggested that the other three having a single slam was better... I think it was really just the way you phrased it. No matter :)

Why not 3? And the WTF. And Cincinnati. And Dubai. And Basel. And Halle. And...
