Interesting observations - Nobody dominated a slam final like Nadal, 7 straight set finals, that is half of his RG titles. Federer and Djokovic are the only two in the open era to win a slam final at all four slams without dropping a single set (Laver failed to do it at USO, Agassi failed to do it at RG and Nadal failed to do it at AO). Federer has the most dominance overall for winning percentage, exactly half of his slams were won in straights across all three surfaces. Djokovic won three slam finals in a row in straight sets, W 2018, USO 2018, AO 2019 - which is the open era record, tied with Pete. Federer has won at least 3 slam finals in straight sets at three different slams.

So, Novak is GS leader in titles, finals, semifinals, quarterfinals... GOAT stuff. What about 4th round?

QFs, not yet. He is 1 behind Federer. He can get the record by RG2024. But he would do so in less appearance. Federer made his 58 QF in his final slam appearance. 81st appearance. Djokovic only had 72 appearances.

You can't claim weak era for this. Big 3 all were super good reaching QF. But Nole kept his level high for more time than Federer and the results are in front of us.

At Djokovic's age,
Federer would have 29 slam finals to Djokovic's 36
40 or so slam semis finals to Djokovic's 47
And 50 or so slam qf to Djokovic's 57

Djokovic is almost 20% better than Federer by age 36. Probably would have been more if pandemic didn't happen.

Federer has all consecutive records except at slam wins.
10 finals vs Djokovic 6
23 semis vs Djokovic 14
36 qf vs Djokovic 24

But it was more about the competition being weak in Fed's time to create these.

Djokovic is 9 slam appearances behind Federer. Between this age and until retirement fed performed like this.

2018 AO W
2018 W QF
2018 USO R4
2019 AO R4
2019 RG SF
2019 Wimby F
2019 USO QF
2020 AO SF
2021 RG R4
2021 Wimby QF

10 tournaments he played all, he reached R4.

Only in 2018 USO R4 when we saw the R4 opponent outside top 20 who even beat Roger.

If Nole is as good as Roger then there are high chances he would be able to reach r4 for next 2 years at least 2025 USO.

8 slams he would reach 6/7 R4. Roger is just 3 ahead.

Nole will probably have highest slams, finals, semis, quarters, r4, r3, r2 and maybe even r1 by end of their career.

That's actually really impressive from 36+ year old Federer, never losing before the 4th round/2nd week. Shows the quality of player he was. Yea, Djokovic is on track to take all of the stats. He pretty much has most of the important ones already.

Unless something goes really wrong it's most likely Djokovic will do better
