It will have to play close to the 6.0 85 for me to buy. If this iteration sucks too (since all others since the 6.0 have been disappointments), I'm done with my quest to replace the 6.0.

Why is this so important to you?

You've asked this same question like 100 times already. How is having or not having a decal with Federer's signature on the side going to affect how the BLX90 plays? :confused:

I talked to the BLX and asked him if he was going to "do the same..."

He said "nah, I'm not gonna do it this year..maybe next year if I'm up to it..."

No signature. Sorry.

Did it? I stand corrected then.

However, Wilson claimed that it was Fed's real frame, first time they had done that (they were caught with their pants down with the N90). If the B90 does not have Fed's signature, are we to assume it is not Fed's real frame?

So? How many people bought the K90 ONLY because it had Federer's signature on it and how many people even cared? I've been using the K90 since it came out and until you mentioned it, I didn't even remember it had Federer's signature on it because I never look at the side of my racquets when I'm playing nor even when I string my racquets.
 
You can probably find his signature on the web in a picture. Just transfer it to a decal and stick it on any racquet of your choosing.

Not true at all. Look at the history of tennis racquets. There have been thousands of models in the past with some pro's signature on them which the pro never even touched in their lives, let alone actually play with. This was especially common during the wood era. Heck, one of the best selling tennis racquets of all time was even named the Wilson "Jack Kramer Autograph".

I'm not a regular K90 user so I won't be able to tell you much. But I'll update the blog post tonight with my after thoughts along with the BLX 6.1 95 preview as well.
 
I'm sure that we could come up with a few volunteers to do a comparison if you'd care to loan it out for a few days.

Can you compare it to any of the other Pro Staff models? I just wanna know how flexy it is and how the mass is distributed.

Open your images in Microsoft Paint and type in your name and website on the picture.

I presume BLX stands for Basalt. Longitudinally. X(woven).

As in Wilsons' description, there are basalt fibers longitudinally woven through this new line of frames.

If anyone has some other guesses come forth..... I would love to hear some.
