big shoes - still wear them?

hi, i just got a pair of barricades 3's off **** but they are little big on the heel and toe area (1/2 size bigger than my size). my foot doesnt slip out but my heel moves up and down inside the shoes...i cant return and exchange because its ****, and i want to keep it because i got a good deal. is there anything i can do to make the shoe fit tighter at the heel area? is there such thing as a heel pad i can put inside a shoe? i guess my last resort is to trying to resell it on ****...

yeah heel pads may work.

Also try 2 pairs of socks.

I had the same problem, but then I wore Thorlos and they felt fine. Just try that or the cheap way which has already been mentioned (2 or 3 pairs of socks)
