Why is an exhibition event relevant?
Not according to Becker and Sampras....read their autobiographiesBecause:
a) It's not an exhibition event, it's the biggest of the ATP events.
b) It will always be relevant even if Nadal never wins it.

Exactly. When Becker first won the WTF in 1988, he said it was his greatest achievement since winning the 1986 Wimbledon. Why would he say that about an exhibition event? Are you trying to tell me that Becker and Sampras, who have won a total of 8 YEC titles between them and played some epic matches at this event, don't rate these achievements or the tournament that spawned them?![]()

Why do you think he's a troll? Could just be another human. Believe it or not, there are lots of humans who think exactly the same way and have the same personality. We're not as unique as you think.Nadal recently registered troll # 400. Let me guess... you're Get a Grip, no?

Which is oddly ironic given that Miami is the most Hispanic city in the United States!!
Well lookee here - the biggest sporting event in the world takes place next year. 3.5 billion people follow or play the sport, and billions more will view World Cup Football, which, surprise, surprise, is a round robin format. You can lose and still win! Try running it past anyone who's not a raving lunatic that World Cup Football is an exhibition - you'll soon be looking at padded walls from the inside.A slight correction
p.s OSG means so much more since 2016 well because ... Remember when Djokovic cried when he lost?? So now the top players' reactions define what the biggest events are , not the points nor the history nor anything the official governing bodies of the sport actually state. Nadal's '08 OSG & Murray's '12 OGS miss out on meaning much of anything along with every other OSG medal before it (not that there were that many anyway)
p.s.s WTFs is an exhibition event , well because a lot of people say it is ...
Oh & because you can lose & still win ...
& there's a chance to face the worlds best player twice #Exho
Yes, just one shy of the 12 combined Roland Garros titles that they have. Talk about a monopoly.Legends. Probably the three greatest indoor HC players of all time.

Not a lot of humans who sit around and think about tennis 24/7 though. And that goes out to all tennis fans, myself included. Pretty weird actually. Why do you think he's a troll?
