Ferrer won Paris Masters in 2012.

A lot of Paris Masters here. Is it because they didn't play it all the times or because they are tired of successfull seasons at that time ?

The most impressive thing is that out of all of these 32 ocassions, only 6 are grand slams and 3 are YEC! The rest are masters, which is more than 70% of those 32! Lol And yes, nobody cares for Bercy all that much! Its prestige as masters 1000 event is rather questionable! There are a couple of ATP 500 event for which there is more hype than for the last masters of the season! Also up until most recently another reason was that there was no week off between Bercy and YEC, so a lot of top players preffered to skip it to stay fresh for YEC and only few of those who needed points to qualify were attending...ATG players like big-4 simply didn't have to wait that long to qualify for YEC, their level was so high, that hit qualification cut long before even fall of the season!...Djokovic is the only player of all of them liking event so much to keep coming back even when long since qualified for the YEC...

Just look how happy and proud they all are and only Safin be like - "Yup! Just second of those...should have won way more..." Lol Davydenko on the first photo of his is like - "One down! YEC i am coming for you!" Roddick must be thinking - "Man this can't be the best i can do! That just shucks..."

The domination of the big 4 has been supreme indeed.

And yes, Paris is a tournament that is little cared about by the big guns, given its proximity to the YEC.

I really resented Roger and maybe even his camp that came up with the BS that he was hurt during this match! Who cares? He allowed it to go 5 sets when he was up 2-0; more a colossal choke like all the others instead of a tweaked ankle!  :( ;)

The post you are quoting is Madrid 2007, where he beat Federer in the final in a BO3, having beaten Djokovic and Nadal also.

I believe you are referring to post 10.

He had torn his meniscus and Nalbandian aknowledged it in his press conferences. Nalbandian and Djokovic very lucky...

Fed barely made it to the YEC that year due to the anke injury.
It was absolutely Fed's ankle injury flaring up.
Maybe you should've watched/should watch the final properly.
Fed lost like 16 of the 19 games after set2. lost sets 1 and 2 and then went down 0-4 in the 5th set. No way on earth does that happen to a healthy fed vs any friggin' opponent. (esp. on HC)
Fed took a MTO at the end of set 2 as well.

Fed or his camp didn't even need to mention the ankle injury affecting him. Anyone sane who watched the match would know that.

Then don't kvetch about it later! No one put a gun to his head to play the match! He killed himself to win a match over his buddy Stan a few years ago in a YEC SF, then wimped out and didn't play Nole who got a walkover in the final! Outside of his skill, so much bothers me about Federer; even the finger wag when he's lucky enough to win a match over his rivals like Rafa and Novak!  :)

maybe you should actually get a clue before whining about such stuff.

See exhibit #1: the YEC 05 final vs Nalby.
The ankle issue got considerably bad AFTER set 2. He wasn't affected much in the 1st 2 sets.

exhibit #2 : the YEC SF vs Stan in 14. Federer injured himself (tweaked his back) towards the very end of the match.

and your last statement is just bullsh*t from outta your a**.
He outplayed peak Djokovic and ended his streak. End of story.
adding random emoticons at the end of it just makes it look even more stupid.

You need to hold onto that little nugget that goes back to 2011 because it'll be the only fk'n highlight you'll have from here on out! :p  :)

Wimbledon 2012 semi.
the masterclass in Shanghai 14 semi
the masterclass in Cincy 15 final

but nice try.

Why not list all of Nole's wins over the so called GOAT! That'll take you a while to post and keep you busy! Right now you're truly scratching listing a couple Masters 1000 wins over Nole! It's more than a little sad since Roger's owned by the guy now; SORRY! lol! :p :)

My point was in response to the highlights bit. you just got owned again . Just stop with these crap posts.

34-37 year old guy owned in 3 matches by 6 year younger ATG playing well. yep, so surprising. NOT ! maybe you ought to , you know, get more of a clue and stop with crappy posts.

You're assuming Nole won't have a surge of his own late and maybe get closer than you'd like in that major count? :p;):)
I am saying that Federer gave his fans and tennis fans in general enough highlights for a lifetime. His wins over Djokovic are just a small fraction of them.
