17/26 from Novak. And nobody said Novak declined after 2013 he was still in his prime. So doesn’t show much apart from how great Djokovic is.

And this stat shows it's false.
Yes but by a bit of a cherrypick and not by as big as a margin as Djokovic skews it to be with all his wins in periods when people say he was in his prime...

Vast void.
Tennis is a weak sport whose heir is a vlogger who thinks he is a God rather than a tennis player with work to do.
That "greek god" thing was definitely scripted. Even Tsitsipas wouldn't actually do something that cringe on his own

Woah, I think Lew may have just destroyed himself. Big 3 not beating others convincingly must mean that the others (the field) were really good in the 2003-2012 period. They could challenge the Big 3 consistently.

He keeps destroying himself with every thread he posts like this, showing that the ageing Big 3 are having it easier against their top 10 foes than they ever had it before.

I don't think I've seen someone so enthusiastic about numbers yet so wrong about how to interpret them. He makes @Meles look like a stone cold genius!
Great respect to the OP, but we play in different arenas. Not sure what he does qualifies as hard core statistics, but heh were not duplicating efforts.

Hmmm. Are you still a rabid antiThiemite?:sneaky: You've managed to kill everyone else but like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target.

I thought you remembered? I was hugely optimistic about Tim through '17 and into '18. We shared some good Thiem times then. There's a lot of posts and theories about Thiem but the key matchup is Rafa. Until he beats Nadal in a big tournament and goes on to win the title, he's going nowhere.

He was meant to be the one to put the Nadal down and return the OHBH to its rightful place at the top of the mountain. RG18 really did a lot of mental damage IMHO, with USO18 being the final nail in the coffin. '19 and '20 just confirmed the stupid that I had feared all along. Now he's just been too stupid for too long.

Anyway, all the best bud and try to stay sane regardless of where this season goes, or doesn't.

Resorting to whataboutery is never a strong argument for making your point.

And since those players you named never lost badly against big-3 or whatever that makes their cases statistically stronger

It's simply yet another case where Lew tried to show how blessed we are to witness the mightiest tennis player humanity has ever known, but managed to prove that Novak is "vulturing" in an incredibly weak era, without any competition from youngsters.
