Black code or Polytour Pro

Going to be trying out a full bed of poly for the first time. Have been using multipoly hybrids but want to try a fb poly in case it may help. Am looking for more spin and control These two are ones that have stood out to me from doing an initial search and watching the play test reviews. The black code is shaped so I guess it will have the higher spin potential but I’m sure both will seem high enough to me as a poly newbie. Can anyone share their thoughts?

I will be stringing them on my pro staff 95 2014. Recently switched back to that racket after using the RF97. Felt a lot more comfortable with the control and spin on that racket.

I play with poly tour pro as a hybrid cross in my angels. I only have limited experience with black code but it is quite a different string. I think full bed poly tour pro might be the way to go as it would be a bit of an easier transition from a hybrid (round+a little softer for a poly).

I use fb of PTP 1.25 yellow in my ezone 98 from.as low as 43 to as high as 54 and has still mainted quite alot of spin,

No discomfort either. Currently have it at 44#

How big is the difference in stiffness, and the amount of control and spin you get in that tension range?

I checked the string comparison tool and it said polytour pro was by far less stiff than black code. It was quite close to Wilson sensation in the stiffness rating. So I’m intrigued how it manages to still have such control and spin with it being not as stiff as a regular poly. What do you think? In the playertest, the reviewers were saying black code has some technology that also makes it not very stiff and allows it to stretch a little. There’s also the added spin on the black code with it being shaped

At looser tension there is more dwell time/"mushiness" from people that have used my stick, but they say there isnt as much spin. Control for me is still there and so is the spin but to each his own.

Using it at 54# there is definatley alot more control and spin, and less pop/power and its surprisingly pretty comfortable and not as stiff from what I found. I wouldnt hesitate to play that tension

Also if your debating 1.20 vs 1.25 PTP by far in my biased opinion stick to 1.25, the 1.20 plays different abd i foubd that not in a good way and I tried tge same tensions on the same stick
