I know a lot of pros complained about the clay, but I've always thought it was really cool and could be an interesting addition to the tour. Instead of replacing red clay you could use it in place of some hard courts. Maybe a really quick slidey blue clay could be used with some 250s and 500s instead of another boring hard court. It might not be the same recipe of clay used in Madrid; perhaps the ATP could test different variants with different speeds / bounces. It would help with injuries (as hard court ruins the body) and it would be a nice halfway point between a super slow clay court and a really quick fast court.
Does anyone else here like blue clay or am I the only weirdo who found it appealing?
