BLX 6.1 95 vs Original 6.0 85

I know this is probably much of a comparison but just wondering if anyone have played both racquets and which one would you prefer. I've played the BLX but I find it very stiff. I have the original 6.0 95 and I love that stick over the BLX. Since they don't make that stick no more, I'm considering getting the re-issue 6.0 85. Just wondering your thoughts on this topic would greatly be appreciated it.

Thanks,
Phil

A friend LOVES the 85 and has a collection. He also recently about the 6.0 95 and doesn't like it at all. Totally diff. feel he says.

I can tell you from personal exp. the 85 is totally diff. than the BLX 6.1 95. The box beam of the 85 gives a diff feel. The 85 is amazing when you hit the ball perfectly and great for volleys.

I don't consider the original BLX 95 stiff. It has the muted suspension and mass of a cadillac and I love it.

At the end of the day you can get used to almost any stick as long as it doesn't hurt your arm.

well man here is my story ...
i got the blx ps 95 and it was the best racket i ever used performance wise ,i added 3 grams oflead at 12 o'clock andit played so well , great cominationof power and control , easy to manuever, improved my 1 hbh massively that it wasnt a weakness anymore but a weapon , very smooth on volleys and very quick at the net. all was a dream for me until i picked up a wrist injury that i leaving me out of tennis for 6 months, and i believe its because of the racket as i heard so many people complained from this particular stick that it caused them wrist and shoulder injuries.

in my last recoevring days i decieded to get the PS 85, ( well i was bored without tennis and i am a huge sampras fan and had to own one ). i thought i cant play with it because of its weight and small head size but it is so head light that u will move it around better than any other stick, if you are a 4.5 player or above it won't take you much time to get used to it.
i stringed mine with natural gut babolat at 55, feels great but i will have to add some weight on the top because it is very low powered.

still i have this feeling inside me that i cant play a tournament match with it. i will wait till iam fully recovered and practice more with it.

What you describe is what happen with me. My wrist was giving me problems. Maybe because I haven't gotten used to it yet. Like everyone else, I'm also a huge Pete Sampras fan and I got to try the PS 85 since it's been re-issue for TW. I'm waiting for the shipment but I sure hope that I get the same feeling as everyone else.
