BLX Blade 2013 Grommet Substitutes

I have a Wilson BLX Blade 98 (2013, the all black paint job) that needs a replacement bumper. I have already discovered the 2015 Blade grommets line up, but are too wide for the holes in the frame. Does anybody know where to get a set of 2013 grommets that aren't overpriced? I found a set of the previous black/gold model for under $10, does anybody know if those work?

Thanks

The KBlade and BLX Blade grommets are interchangeable (I just installed BLX blade grommets on my Kblade)

The Kblade didn't have parallel drilling (I am assuming the one you are talking about, doesn't either) Hence the 2015 grommets not fitting your frame.

If you trust yourself to enlarge the holes, try drilling out the holes with a 1/8" drill bit, which is 3.2 mm. I do this a lot with Head frames where the replacement grommet strips just don't quite fit exactly for all the holes. I was replacing Ti Radicals with MG Radical strips and the holes on the Ti are smaller. If you do this, take your time. And do it from the outside and inside. Do not go straight thru from the outside. FWIW, wasn't the 2013 Blade the parallel drilled version?

The thought had crossed my mind. I would have no problem with that if it were for my own racquet. But that's not the case.

Yes, those will fit.

Thanks. I should have them by tomorrow. Now I can hold on to my 2015 grommet set for another 4 years and sell them for $30 ;)

A little bubbling on the sides near the bottom crosses, but no holes were harmed in the installation process. Doubt the kid will even notice.
Thanks everyone
