BLX Six One Team

Any thoughts/comments on this racquets - It's basicaly same as the BLX six one 95 18x20 but lighter. Reviews are good. I'm sure the regular version is "better" if you can handle the weight. But I'm curious if anyone has hit with this and what they think.

Bump... Anyone?
I know lighter racquets are frowned upon here, but is there any similiarity between the team version and the blx 95?

I'm afraid the weight of the blx 95 is a little too much for what I'm use to, and the team too light. My ideal weight is around 11.4. (I guess I can always add lead if needed).

I have actually been demoing both the BLX six one 95 and the Team version. Have only played for a couple of hours with both, but I prefered the Team; it felt substantial and to me played more like an 11+ oz. racquet. The 95 was good also but a bit heavy for me.

As always, a demo is the only way to tell, but the Team did not feel light to me.

When I first hit with the BLX Team I really liked it on stretched forehands and backhands; in trouble I could just whip it back into the court. (this is what I loved about the weight) After about two weeks I noticed A LOT of balls flying long randomly during warm up and match play. It was just too light and I couldn't get any type of feel other then power hitting and a very beginner/tweener hit. I've since sold mine.

It's a racquet players have to "be into" and commit to experiment with strings and tensions to really be sure it's for you.

...The all gloss paint job though is hot :)
