BNP - Indian Wells 2020 - What do you want TW to cover?

Hi TT users!

TW is heading down to the desert for a week and half during the BNP in March. We will be shooting a lot of great content but we want to make sure we aren't missing anything! Is there anything you would like us to cover both on and off site?

Also, don't be a stranger! Please say hi if you see us, we love to chat!

Thanks,
TW Staff
I would like to say hello to Don Hightower if he is there. I partnered with TW on an unofficial Nadal website back in the day. It was vamosrafael.com. Our server crashed when Rafa won his first RG French Open. That site later merged with Rafa’s official site, but Don was so supportive of our unofficial efforts before then. My husband and I are in the Palm Springs area for IW this year and have tickets to the men’s semis on the Saturday. Would love to come by and say hello, especially to Don.

I think that it would be interesting to hear about the players diets. What to they eat pre-match, the night before matches, and what they might indulge in during longer stretches between tournaments.

The menu at NOBU SHUSHI--I've heard if you order $100 in shushi you can watch the matches from there--how long will they let you hang-out for $100?--Do they have salmon skin handrolls? Do they have cold unfiltered saki?
$100 in sushi at Nobu will get you a cucumber roll and two pieces of tuna nigiri. Obscenely overpriced menu.
And they are in stadium 3 if I recall which you can enter with a grounds pass for $30.

I'll be there for the tournament and have some quarterfinals tickets lined up courtside. I'll go to an early day on the cheap and visit the TW booth. Want to try a few of the new Phantoms so make sure you bring them!!!

Eat and watch into stadium 2
The restaurant opens at 11am so we stood in line to ensure we got a window bar seat. $100 min food and beverage charge for a single match was well worth it as we did not have any reserved seating tickets. The food was excellent. We had the Chef's special bento box which included a nice sablefish and popcorn shrimp, uber spicy grilled peppers if you were to eat the seeds too, sashimi salad, and tasty bitesized tuna tacos plus beer and grapefruit cocktail.

As much Men's tennis as possible, no doubles and as little women's tennis as is feasible.

I would like to watch all of Ash Barty's matches because she does not make screechy noises. She simply plays a mean game of tennis.

Show the "up and coming" players on the replay.

It seems like a policy designed to inspect and prohibit anything brought from home that you could buy on-site.

Love to hear from the actual stringers themselves on what new trends (ie, string types, tensions, frame mods, etc) they are seeing this year. It´s tricky talking about individual clients, as they may not approve of sharing secrets.

We will be recording a couple BNP Podcast episodes as well! So ASK US ANYTHING BNP PARIBAS related and we will do our best to answer your questions -- whether it is a question about the grounds or how to see your favorite player up close or how the TW tent works or what racquets to demo on our demo court -- ask away!

Thanks!
