Federer became distracted during the doubles because his mind suddendly turned to the problem of "Should we use cloth or disposable diapers" when the ball kid handed him his towel.

I haven't seen Nadal or Djokovic play at Indian Wells but so far the guys looking sharp in week 1 are Verdasco and Roddick. Federer had difficulty converting break points against Gicquel, Tsonga was over hitting, Murray had a rusty looking 2nd round match, Blake is still a meat head, Simon barely took care of Lu Yen-Hsun. Man I wanted Lu to get a break-through win so much!

I hope they tidy up because Nadal is the man to beat.

Fed/Karlovic and Verdasco/Gasquet are what I'm looking forward to most today.

Want to watch JW/Andreev as well but it's just too late for me I think D:

your man richie looking good so far!
wondering why you didnt post from IW.

Hey, LG!
I didn't have any internet access the whole week plus I was busy watching tennis.

I did get to see Richie play, and it was a good performance. Got my picture taken with him too, it was awesome.

Federer-Karlovic will be a pretty boring match.U can turn on the TV when they get to a tiebreak i guess.1 or 2 points one way or the other will decide the outcome

Andy roddick's got a shot now he has a new coach doing a good job
He has an easy draw, but not ready to take on any of the " big four". Yes, I know he beat Novak in Oz, but that had more to do with the conditions then it did with Roddick. I don't see him getting past the quarters.

Yes, Federer's win over Novak the mental giant would make you wet your pants. A tiresome, desperate need to degrade a big server who doesn't look like a Swiss gnome--under the bridge.
Where was your fairness after Roddick's embarrassing fitness the last 4 years?

Anyone watching the Murray-Mathieu match? That chair umpire is one smooth operator...he sounds like he's about make love on a bearskin rug.

Anyone see the entire Querry/Stepanek match last night? I was there but only midway through the first set.

Things seemed pretty testy between the two at that point already. Each one would stare at the other after hitting a nice winner. Then once, while Stepanek was getting ready to serve, he imitated Querrey's racquet flip, to which Sam replied with a sarcastic applause.

Anyone know what happened between them? The pro-Querrey crowd was getting pretty annoying.

Wow, I watched it online and didn't notice any of that. Except that the crowd was very pro-Querrey and yeah, kind of annoying.

So I see that Gonzo is wrapping up the first just now, so hopefully he can get this over with in two quick sets. I see from the schedule that Dulko-Ivanovic are supposed to play next, and then Karlovic d. Federer. Is there any chance Dulko or Ivanovic are going to withdraw, I can't wait to see Karlovic serving hahaha...

This isn't good. The free internet access granted by my university has a pretty week connection during the day when everyone's online. I can only get bits and pieces of live-stream (and I don't have a TV in my room - is the tournament even on TV right now?). It's times like these I really miss the 3 a.m. matches of the Australian. Since so few people are online at that time, I get all the internet I could need.
