Looks like he has switched strings...pro red code? Babolats new poly?
I noticed that also, i think they are both with tecnifibre for strings, so possibly redcode.
I actually think he is using X1 mains, so could just be the red version...
No. He is using the red one in the mains:
Red x1 biphase
what were they useing before?
Why do the use the same racquets? Is it an advertising strategy or are they just that similar to each other? I mean, I know they're twins but...
Im pretty sure its a poly...they have both used ALU Power in the mains before and I think full multi before 2004.
Its just bob that has switched...looks like mike is still using his normal setup.
They both like similar rackets..and have always switched at the same time.
Bob uses a gripsize 5, mike a 4. Both were at the same weight 354 grams unstrung in 2004 but had difference balance points.
The speedports they have now are at least 365 unstrung.
Hey, They walked about a foot away from me holding their rackets on Wednesday. The red string was pretty light coloured. Lighter than pro redcode imo...then again, I could be wrong
Same here...there thusday/today...watched 3 of the matches from a couple of feet away...nearly asked what it was but decided not to!
Wait, is Bob the guy who is top seed in mixed doubles, or is that Mike?
That would be Mike.
