Watching highlights numerous times and I think it's pretty easy to see that at MP's both Safin and Djokovic didn't believe it they could win match.

That makes this losses all that more painful.

I totally disagree.
In Wimbledon 2019 Final, Djokovic was calm and steady.
He had already gone through that experience a couple of times before against the same player.
In addition to having the public against the entire match, especially at that particular moment only stoked the internal fire that few possess and that the Serbian has it in abundance.
I think you have to check that match more coldly and realize that it was the opposite: While Nole knew that until the last everything is possible (and he knows it very well!) and the result can change with just one play, it was Federer the one who had doubts and perhaps fear, especially because of the rival in front of him and who had left scars difficult to heal.
The stoicity that Djokovic showed in that frenetic trance until his final triumph is a little commented feature that only ratifies who dominates who.

Not that I disagree with your point, but this reads like you are the one in some sort of frenetic trance.

What was most strange to me was Mirka's look just before the MP's in 2019? It's as if she had a premonition! She certainly wasn't confident, I can tell you that.

Two things about 2011 USO are pretty remarkable:

After Djokovic hit a cross court winner to save 1st MP, he walked slowly to the ad court, and raised both arms to celebrate. He celebrated before the 2nd MP, not after it! He didn't celebrate at all after the 2nd MP. What other tennis player would celebrate after saving only the first MP? Most people would be so worried about the 2nd MP, that they'd forget to appreciate and celebrate the first one.

A lot of the sell out crowd celebrated with him. If it happens now, Djokovic would be greeted with stunned silence, as he was last year at Wimbledon. Between then, when he had all of 3 majors, and now, tennis crowds almost uniformly turned against him.

It was because Djokovic was a better player at this time. Not because Fed choked.

Djokovic just distracted Fed that time by trying to get the crowd to applaud his slap shot. Shame on Fed to fall for that and hit the next FH put away out by a few millimeter.

A couple of things about THAT return.

Firstly, I remember the commentators at the time saying Federer fav serve on the deuce side was out wide, so Djokovic played the percentages there. He didn't move at all to his left, he was confident the ball was coming into his forehand side, which allowed him to take such a massive strike on the ball. It is possible if Federer went against the percentage and went up the middle, he may have had a better result, all speculation now.

Secondly, Djokovic smartly delayed the time between the points with that celebration, which was quite extraordinary considering the return, but he milked it a bit also, I think he went to towel off as well. LOL. He basically made Federer think about that last point for longer than Fed would have liked to, and thinking about what happened the year before at MPs. Novak then got another good return in play and Federer proceeds to make an error and then drop his serve. In fact he never won another game from that point.

Djokovic was sarcastic with the crowd when they wildly applauded Federer reaching 40-15. When Nole hit the hail-Mary return winner on the next point, he initially seemed surprised it was in, then he motioned to the crowd to give him some love. The crowd obliged and loudly applauded. This seemed to **** Federer off, and he played the rest of the match with an unfocused anger.
