I have no idea why they are waiting so long to release the specs. I guess they want a 6 week window, so maybe in Mid July the specs come out. Who knows. Maybe TW will have a demo opportunity for posters here.

Mr. Bobalat. I noticed Jason Jung of TW switched to Pure drive plus 2015 racket. does he now have contract with you guys ? he had the stencil on, so I assumed he had ?

Doesn't that Babolat Gut string of Roger Federer get Wet in that rain comes at wimby. do you recommend Roger switch to freshly strung racket when he comes back from rain delay ? since it got wet when started pouring on court 1 ?

If you watch closely, rain does not actually fall on Federer or his strings :)

Just a note to BABOLAT....I would consider buying tungsten tape except the reviews are terrible...everyone is saying that it doesn't stick.

Sounds awesome. My favorite Babo frame was the PD Roddick with gut mains.

Is the grip size the same? Babolat grips always seem a size bigger to me.
My theory is that syntec pro takes 10-15 hours of play to "compact down." I was almost ready to change grip sizes, but not the new model feels the same as the old one. I have the same issue when I put on new replacement grips. Just needs to get played in.

Daniel, New Aero pros coming out, I was originally told it will also be in Plus versions like before but now someone else is saying that is not the case. Will the new Aeropro drives coming out also have the Plus versions for both regular and tour ?
We will release all the model details in the future.

It may be grip shape for me. I feel like Babolats are more round, but I could be wrong. Last APD I had I went 1/8th and I believe I liked it more. I use 1/4 on everything else.

Sounds like the PA Tour is shaping up to be a beast. Balance and weight is right on. Praying for a solid feel, softer RA, SW at least 325. Of course my opinion is not that important, but it would be tempting to try a frame with specs like that.

Why don't you have some respect for the forum? They continue to delete these posts and now you are just throwing it in the guy's face.

A little dramatic with the moral outrage, but I do agree in that Daniel has already said multiple times that he cannot confirm specs until they are released.

To be honest, I bet those specs are spot on or very close, so no need to ask.

I'm not really outraged but the same poster has posted banned links, posted specs, over and over again the past few days only to have each post get deleted. You start to wonder what must be said for someone to grasp the point.

I would agree the specs are probably accurate, so it just seems even more odd to share with someone who has been pretty clear that he didn't want them publicized yet. It was a nice move to delete them.

On a positive note, the specs for the Tour are looking rather awesome so far.

Marketing is a form of striptease. If there is no information until release, there is no interest until release. And at release there is interest for a week and people move on.

The whole Rafa usage, partial release of photos and then details has this model in the news for months. I wouldn't say it's deliberate, but given that ...

these models leave an image and printed catalogue trail long before their electronic release people must expect and hope for this 'slow release fertiliser' effect.

It happened this way with the Federer racquet and with that we also got the Peter Fig insider's account, so Babolat didn't manage that coup.

the racket doesn't come out for a while, as we approach the launch date and it makes sense to get everyone excited... we will

How would I be able to tell if it is the new formulation or old formulation?

I've been a more classic / traditional racquet guy, max 200g, prestige etc.. My wife recently bought me a Pure Drive 2015 for my birthday. I was a bit skeptical, going from a 360G Prestige to a much lighter frame, but I see more and more people using them, and I got curious. So, after 3 hours of singles and 4 hours of doubles, I can say this. Apart from being the best looking racquet I've ever seen, it is the most solid, forgiving and comfortable racquet I've ever played with. Even on off-center hits, it is very stable. Also, by far the best serve & volley racquet I've hit with. I was surprised that I didn't need more time to adjust to it. Not sure why people say its a stiff frame, it felt quite soft to me. Good job, great racquet:)

Some people are more sensitive to racket stiffness, it's really a personal preference. Thanks fo the kind words! I'll pass them onto the team. We're always trying to make things better.

Hi!!! My name is Luca. On your web-site is it possible create a label for the old aero backpack (2014) ? Because i can only create a label for the pure aero backpack but the mold is different. Thanks

I strung it with Head Sonic Pro Edge 16 @ 55lbs. It felt a bit too soft, so I cut it out now, and strung Head Lynx 16 (green) @ 55lbs. The Lynx is a more crisp string than the Edge. This is the first racquet I actually enjoy playing more without a vibration dampner. The sound when you hit the sweet spot is quite something:)
