I am not at all concerned about the durability of the string. only concerned with playability. if you make the Origin in 18 G, do you think it will play better than 17 G version ?

That is subjective to the user. Some people prefer thicker strings, some people prefer thinner strings.

The best specs were the AST's. Just awesome. Not sure Im down with low SW Aeros. I remember when they used to be around 330 and could plow the ball.

that is right. but most amateurs are 4.0's and 3.5's and these guys play a lot of doubles with some singles. and 90 % plus of these guys want SW around 315-320.

Hey Daniel, so I saw the paintjob of the new Aero, its alright looking I think. Any chance that there will be versions sold with the paintjob Rafa used in Monte Carlo? Like is that the tour version pj maybe?

Anyone here play with the PC 95+ and can give some feedback on it? The Pure Control line is more my thing as I prefer classic frames with some flex. A comparison to a Pure Drive Roddick would be good as I currently have one in my racket rotation. Thanks.very hard to come by in the UK but I am able to demo from TW Europe which is crazy really. I can get a racket delivered here from Freiberg in 3 days. Some of the UK retailers take longer than that.

we go with the feedback from a majority of the peolpe we present to... the cosmetic we selected was a clear favorite

Understood Daniel. It's just that PJ was incredible! I'm more a Wilson guy (with the Aero being one of my fave runner-ups) but that Aero looked just so purposeful. I'll say it's my fave PJ ever.

Anyhow you guys are in the business of making and selling racquets and sports equipment and have to go with the majority.

If it ever comes out as a special edition I would love to get one...but I won't hold my breath

That would be a pretty cool alternative. Or maybe it could be used as a possible paintjob if Babolat ever tried out that custom racquet thing that HEAD does.

Oh well, doesnt hurt to ask. I've been on and off with my own Aero's (2013s) for the past three years. Its a love/dislike relationship lol. Cant wait to try out the new version!

As long as they play great and is Easy to swing, it really doesn't matter what colorways they have. To play well and better tennis,,,,isn't that what we really want from getting a new tennis racket.............

True, the racquets performance on court is paramount. But a great PJ can't hurt.

The PC+ and Pure Drive Roddick are very different.

Roddick = more power, more spin

PC+ = more feel, more comfort, more control, more maneuverability

Thanks for the feed back. Will look into getting a PC95+ demo. There is zero availability for this frame in the UK. Any reason why?

I like the sound of the PC more than the Roddick. Bang on by the way as I have one. Tons of power and spin but not much in the way of feel.

Question for @babolat official: I bought 2 x 18x20 pure strikes pre strung from the factory with black xcel 16g and I really enjoyed this string. When the frames needed re-stringing I bought a pack of the black xcel 16g (French open) TWICE and had it strung at 57lbs and 60lbs on each occasion, and both times this re-string felt NOTHING like the xcel that was pre-strung in the the frames?? Do you use a different type of xcel when factory stringing to the string sets sold in packs??

We have an operation planned to give away 10 of Nadal's spec framed (the black ones he was using on tour)...

stay tuned (long term) on our social media channels

That's great Daniel.

I wish there were a channel for us to acquire used pro items. (ie. charity auction, etc) I've always wanted to acquire a signed Li Na Pure Drive. I've tried to use her (Li Na) as a role model for my daughter since she (my daughter) is such a loyal Pure Drive fanatic.

Sometimes a symbol can inspire a junior athlete when the going gets tough (which seems to happen too often) and remind them of the virtues of being a Champion in defeat and victory.

IMHO, Babolat has received bargains by endorsing Li Na & Caroline Wozniacki. I've use their virtuous examples with my daughter too many times to count!

Is the cosmetic of the new Aeropro drive 2015/2016 black and neon green/yellow like the picture on reddit?

Great idea to give away Nadal spec (Monte Carlo) aeropro black rackets! Fantastic paint job!

The factory strung frames were initially done at 55 lbs. However, with shipping, time on shelf, etc. the actual tension was likely 40-52.

What about the strings did you like from the factory vs. store? That will give a better indication.

I have both the Roddick and the PC95+ and like them both for different reasons.
Roddick-go to racket for competition and matches.
PC 95+- for just hitting around, warming up and working on my ball striking, plus you have to supply the power and is a lot less wear and tear on the joints. Sweet spot is smaller to.

Even though it has XCel printed on the factory strung racquets. I believe it's actually just a synthetic gut of some sort. It is NOT XCel!!!

Thanks Daniel. I have a demo of both the PC95+ and PC Tour on their way from TW Europe. Excited to give them both a try.

I checked with the team. The string that says Xcel is actually Xcel. With shipping from factory, to warehouse, to store...it can be a couple months since the racket was strung. This greatly changes the performance of the string.

which string do you think is most powerful polyester you sell right now ?

Polyesters are powerful. Of the ones we sell, probably RPM Blast or RPM Team. But that's a personal anecdote.

If power is a concern, a hybrid with VS Gut or Origin is a much better option.

Thank you. I am sorry but what I really meant was I am trying to get more power while maintaining same massive spin that poly provides. so I thought only way to do that is to get a poly that is most powerful....

Try gut poly hybrids.
