Not as disgusting as this. Nadal actually moved his hip back and forth, and it was only the second game of the match.

And he did this in front of British royalties:

It seems you like people pointing at their crotch.

These are all absolutely nothing. You guys sound like the old farts who were mad at Elvis for daring to move his hips on tv in the 1950s.

Crotch thrusts/points have no place in a gentlemen's game

Yet another reason Federer fans like Federer.

Prefer the gesture of Novak giving his heart to the crowd who loves and adores him.

No such thing as a "boob throw".

It’s not that it’s lacking in class, it’s that it lacks the jovial movement of the NBA players who do it.

This is how you celebrate using your cojones.

I agree with this. Federer was a thorough gentleman on court…like Sampras was.
Thorough gentleman? Fake news. Federer was cursing and breaking racquet on court when he was active on the tour.

Federer told Zverev:

"I want a 'let's go' and a 'come on' for every f***ing point you win," Federer said.

"And every point you lose, you f***ing take it like a man.

"(When you lose a point) it's always like 'ah I knew it, f**k, s**t."

During his junior days Federer threw his racquet and it tore the curtain of the court. He also threw his PlayStation controller out of the room when he lost a game.

Federer's gentleman image is totally fake. Deep down he likes to curse a lot. I remember he yelled s**t loudly when he lost a point vs Tursunov. He even smiled after he cursed.

The level of mediocrity from each fanbase in this thread is pretty amazing
A French person talking about class, oh the irony. French tennis spectators are so classless, they're inciting and provoking Djokovic, showing him no respect. They don't deserve to be respected. Rude spectators.
There are 65 million people in France. Tennis spectators don't represent the country.

I mentioned the other day that we are going to be seeing more and more of this from Djokovic.

Novak has completely given up on the global ambassador / good guy thing, and is in a fascinating period of his career where he has realised he can get a smaller, but still fiercely supportive fanbase being completely himself, warts and all.

It’s not pretty, and there are moments where it’s generally shocking to see a man nearing middle age doing certain celebrations / tantrums, but it’s great drama.

We are seeing Djokovic at his most honest and unfiltered now. The days of wanting to be a responsible ambassador for tennis and a global athlete brand are long-gone and we are seeing the competitive animal stripped bare for all to see.

The transition from boob throw to stealing Shelton’s phone slam to just gesturing to his private parts pretty neatly represents the 180 degree shift Djokovic has made since 2018.

Probably, but @Rosstour is right here. Tennis is seen as a more refined game…basketball is not. Looks like most people here seem to like this behavior. Maybe thats the future?

lol true that…ever few days these buthurt clowns have to talk about being loved and gestures. This is a thuggish crowd saved deserves every bit of middle finger from the Med lad or what the Djoker is doing. Doesn’t matter if we like it or not, I personally wouldn’t do that but I wouldn’t write ad naseum about this on a dumb online forum ether

A poor imitation of Dani. At least Medvedev is authentic.
Medvedev has revealed himself to be incredibly thoughtful in interviews. He is very good at talking about other players and the sport in general and seems like a real student of the game.

Different from other players (and there is also nothing wrong with this) who say that once they are out of a tournament they would not be watching any matches.
