Novak Djokovic is a general 2/1 favourite to win his second Grand Slam of 2012 at Wimbledon, despite losing the French Open final to Rafael Nadal.
Play resumed at Roland Garros with Djokovic trailing by two sets to one but a break up in the fourth, however he lost his first service game of the day to allow Nadal to take control of the match once more.
The pair traded service games before Nadal established a solitary match point as he led 6-5, and a Djokovic double-fault provided an anticlimactic ending to an otherwise enthralling final.
Stan James reacted by cutting Nadal to 2/1 from 5/2 for Wimbledon, but despite being joint-favourite in places it's Djokovic who heads the betting at best prices, with bodog still prepared to lay the Spaniard at 5/2.
Coral have Djokovic as their 15/8 favourite for SW19, and their David Stevens said: "Nadal remains the undisputed King Of Clay, and his seventh success at Roland Garros was great news for his many pre-tournament backers, but we favour Djokovic to gain revenge at Wimbledon.
Victory saw Nadal surpass Bjorn Borg's record of six Roland Garros titles by taking his personal tally to seven, and Ladbrokes make him evens to win next year's event and just 3/1 to make it ten French Open wins by the year 2020.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "At just 26 years-old it's hard to see how Nadal won't reach ten French Open titles."
William Hill meanwhile offer 5/2 that Nadal and Djokovic also contend the Wimbledon and US Open finals, having met in both Grand Slam title deciders so far this season.
"Nadal and Djokovic are streets ahead of the rest of the world at the moment, with (Roger) Federer desperately trying to cling on and it would take a brave man to bet against the two top dogs dominating the Grand Slams for the rest of the year," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Sky Bet are intrigued by the possiblity of either man winning both remains Slams plus gold at London 2012, and quote Djokovic as a 16/1 chance to do so, with Nadal 28/1.
They felt that the French Open final had little or no relevance when it comes to assessing Wimbledon and are keeping Djokovic firmly in their court at 13/8.
