Borna Coric: Racquet, Strings, & Specs: a look into this rising star's equipment

From what I can tell the H22 16x19 I've seen have two pairs of skips in the upper hoop like Kontinen. Coric's doesn't, his upper hoop skips look like Mladenovic's.

Coric doing well with the glossy black model so far! Wonder if it is a Head Prestige mold! LOL!
 
Still H19.
His overgrip is hiding the bottom part of the Y shape, giving the illusion of a V shaped throat.

I guess his Ultra pj played differently, he didn't like them and went back to his older frames.

His H19 16x19 had six mains in the throat, his frame now has eight.

From what @roger presley was saying in this and another thread it looks like Mladenovic’s frame and the skips match that frame. Logically it seems to me he is trying existing prostocks and I don’t see anything yet that doesn’t match up to the P25.

Imo he is still playing with H19 but a custom string pattern.
Mladenovic frame is too round in the head and rounded beam. Looks like a very different racket to me.
 
From earlier this year. Same pattern. I don't think he would change just based on paint. That seems irrational. Maybe it is a layup thing.

Then again he did win his title using the blackout... so who knows

6 holes drilled in the throat. Also the location of the skip holes are different in relation to adjacent strings between these two

those are both 8 my dude

but yes the skips are different.

Regardless, I think he needs to get his head out of his azz and worry about developing weapons

I totally agree about developing weapons. One of his recent indoor matches on tennis tv had a commentator who really talked up how attacking a player he was, that he'd be a boxer if he didn't play tennis and to look for him to really go for broke on everything. Once the match started the commentator was quite confused and said something like 'oh, hm, I haven't seen him play in quite some time.'

Here I tried to match up the frames. I stretched Coric's slightly wider since it is rotated slightly from the camera. They look fairly similar when I do this but of course that doesn't mean in reality they are the same.

His H19 had 6 in the link above from the same time frame as your post #62 which you said was 8. Just trying to be helpful and informative.

Tip: post numbers can’t be seen on a vertical phone but can horizontally.

It time for Coric to tell Wilson to do a PJ on his blackout frame to use in 2018! After all, he getting paid big bucks and he needs to help Wilson with some sales in 2018!
 
Sorry if it was already mentioned but he was switching and testing a lot between 16×19 and 18×20 patterns. What has he ultimately ended up with?
 
Just maybe he is using the actual Wilson Ultra Tour, the one he is signed on to endorsed? Keys and Monfil is rumored to be using off the shelf retail UT too! Some players do you plain retail racquets!

The one that is 18x20? o_O He is playing a 16x19.

Prince ported frames that used the funny looking dampener in post # 66 above are 100 sq in.
Now that doesn't really address you question, but it is all I got.
