Both Nadal and Djoker will pass Fed

The chain effect is going in that direction, yes, only an unexpected major injury will stop this from happening.

Fed fans should just chillax and enjoy the tennis because there is nothing that can be done.

nadal probably yes, djokovic no. but he probably will get the weeks at number 1 record

Isn't that basically in the bag now with no points dropoff until March 2021 or something? I don't know exactly how it works - haven't kept on top it.

I want Rafa to get to 20 and tie Federer. Djoko can get one or two more, but no more (though IMO he is a slightly better player than R and F).

I want Rafa and Fed to be tied at 20 heading into the sunset. Seems fitting.

If I had any control over it, of course... but I don't.

I am resigned to the fact that both Nadal and Djokovic are likely to eclipse Fed’s record. I will still die a fan of Federer. There is no denying the greatness of all three IMO.

Still think Fed isn't done winning slams yet. Even in injured at AO20 SF, he played amazing at the beginning of the first set.

Djoker is unlucky Wimbledon got cancelled and got withdrawn from the US Open.
Huge chances misses.
Hopefully he will win tomorrow.

I think the gap is narrowing between Nadal/Djokovic and Thiem/Tsitsipas and so, I wouldn’t start counting more Slam titles in 2021-2022 before they are played. Thiem beat Djoko at 2019FO, beat Nadal at 2020AO and outplayed Novak for large stretches of the 2020AO final. Tsitsipas won the 2019 WTF (beating Roger in the semis) and outplayed Djokovic for significant portions of the FO semi today. It should be a fun couple of years in 2021-2022 as we see if Thiem/Tsitsipas possibly joined by Sinner can start winning Slams over Djokovic/Nadal.

What Federer achieved is more impressive even though maybe his opponents were not as strong earlier. But he doesn't scream, plays one hand backhand, looks effortless, and played with a 90 inch square head most of his life.

I think that's more impressive than Nadal. Federer should hold top grand slam spot.

Sycophant analysts and casuals will anoint a new GOAT if both guys pass Federer. I don’t think it makes them better players just more clutch H2H and fortunate to have weaker comp in later years. Fed has been unlucky with his timing imo.

We all have different opinions on players. Who is more worthy is not determined by the votes of fans, but rather actual play.

Hoping for Rafa to tie Fed this Sunday. And from there? who knows.

As the years tick by, the debate will continue most likely unresolved - except in each of our own minds, lol.

Of course they will.

Especially with Wimbledon stabbing him in the back to please Uncle Toni.

But, he could also win more Slams to make the argument more complex.
